Yes. Just yes.
If Sayle were casting MLG then he wouldn't be casting BW for us. Ya, he does a better job than 95% of the SC2 casters, but I'm glad he has chosen to reside where his heart lays.
Ret, Idra, Nony, Naz, Mondy, Draco... we miss you out here on the fringes of esports. I know you made the right decisions for your careers, but man alive, isn't Brood War still the most incredible game that's ever existed?
That EVER existed? I would say chess has that title still. The best competitive rts sure.

You're HALFWAY round the world mang. Tickets ARE going to be expensive. I live in Asia and tickets to Seoul from where I am are still 400 USD.
Just watch the vods. I wanted Zero to win badly but that doesn't matter now. Everything, even those mere hydra busts, are really beautiful compared to those that we see in PL. Game 4 is pimpest play material there, but too bad Zero, for some reason, decided to let go of his contain on Jangbi's ramp and chose to sacrifice 2 of his very few lurkers for some probe kills even though he has the econ advantage, but other than those, this series couldn't get any better. I really wanted Jangbi to lose, but he played beautifully. He deserves it.
Oh, and in game 5, when Zero is 200/200 with 2k mins and gas, I thought he was gonna engage Jangbi and bust out some cows, but he just rolled over and forgot how to macro .
Pretty much stopped following BW as closely because of the new SPL format, but gosh these games were fucking amazing. Jangbi pulling it off with the odds stacked against him, destroying hordes of zerg with absolutely gorgeous storms. Kim Carrier & TheMarine's emotional moments, the fans passionate chanting... This is E-Sports. BW will always have a special place in my heart. I love you BW :'(

Ongamenet has been already moving towards LoL as their flagship E-sports in the post-BW era.
I very doubt LoL will last.
oh it will last, Korea's mad about LoL
They go from loving BW, one of the most skill requiring games.....to something completely on a casual level. It makes no sense, especially since Dota 2 exists. Something I could never understand.
That Kim Carrier quote was epic........I'M AT WORK I WANT TO WATCH THE VODS SO BADDLY. SO MUCH. !
BW's a culture, LoL's a fad, a current trend. Very different. LoL is the "latest in thing" while BW is the game that everyone and anyone plays anytime anywhere.
Dota 2 isn't big in korea because valve doesn't exist in koreans' minds

He didn't forget to macro. HERO DTs saved his ass BIG TIME.

My post said that Zero forgot how to macro because he banked 2k mins and gas. He doesn't have DTs to save him.

Old blizzard doesn't give a fuck about appealing to the mass. They just make legendary games and be done with it.
B.net 2.0 is pretty telling. I mean they can't even outdo a fucking 10 year old battle.net system. If they can't even do that can you expect them to really make a better game-gameplay wise?
even in HOTS. It seem like they are adding units and removing retarded units every announcement. Blizzard has no idea what the fuck they are doing and they know it. Diablo 3 was pathetic.

So you're asking why the price is 10x more when the distance is about 10x more? wtf >_>;;
