It is OK Kim Carrier, it is OK to show emotions and to cry for what we love, what has brought us enjoyment for such a long time now, and still will as we revisit the old VODs and become nostalgic. It is OK Kim Carrier, Because what you and the other guys made SC:BW has allowed the opportunity for eSports to grow out of proportions. If you had asked anyone 12-15 years ago where they thought eSports today would be in 10-15 years, Hell even 5, then there would only have been a few people who would even dream of what we have today. Only through the works of people such as you have we been able to go beyond even the wildest imaginations, and into the today. It is OK Kim Carrier, we might not be in your shoes completely, but we grew up as the first generation who had access to eSports when ever we wanted, sure it existed before that, but not like this. We have had so much enjoyment, rage, tears as our favorite players lost, happiness and some of us has even become almost religious when it comes to defending our players, our teams, our favorite casters. Even though we might be drawing to an end, we all know that the memories that we have gained along the way will never be lost. And one day when my grandchildren are watching eSports on television, or on the internet or whatever they might have in the future, and watch as their favorite players or teams win or lose and start to ask where it, eSports, came from; Ill tell them how it all begun in a land far far away, long before their time. And I will tell them the stories, the drama, the creation of OGN and MBCGame, the tales of the majestic OSL and the Proleague. Then I will dig out the old VODs and show them the rise of Boxer, the legend of Saviour, the games of the Dreamer, NaDa and Iloveoov. The 6 dragons, not to mention the Ultimate weapon Flash and his games (and so many more). And when all is done, I shall remember what a beautiful time it was, and to illustrate the whole picture I will find this picture and tell them: This. This is eSports. Both of these posts... so great T_T

I had started to accept that BW will die. I've gotten so used to the thought, and so prepared for it that I don't think much about it. But after watching these games today live, and meeting you guys after the matches, I started to remember how good this game is. And how much more than a game it is. Whenever I meet BW fans and we end up in a BW vs SC2 discussion, I'm always one of the first to defend SC2, as I like to be positive about the future. But after today I honestly don't think that SC2 ever can become something as big and epic as this. I am, once again, really depressed about the fact that BW will die.

I don't remember it word-for-word but his commentary went something like "... this is just like in the campaign when Protoss is down to their last stand. No luxury no glory but there is one last stand as a hero rises from the dark to scrap together all that's left for one last battle! Yes, Protoss, one last battle, seemingly impossible but Protoss always has one last push! JangBi breaks out of his ramp and is now moving out! This is a battle for history, for the ancestors, a fight for justice and for survival! For Brood War! Zero has hydras ahhhh AHHHH STORMMM AHHHHH the desperation battle oh the storm WILL JANGBI PUSH THROUGH IT LOOKS LIKE HE'S PUSHING THROUGH ahhh the million Protoss hopes and spirits still alive ZERO'S ARMY IS THINNING AHHH PROTOSS AHHH THE HANBANG AHHH AHHHH FOUR HYDRAS LEFT FOUR AHHH GEEEEEEEEE GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" ... that, my friend, is eSports. The best music ever made. And it fits so well into the games played today. Guide us Executor Jangbi!
