I agree completely.
But at the same time, I wonder if there aren't a ton of good, indie bands out there that would LOVE the exposure you could give them. I wouldn't know how to get in contact with these folks, but I imagine you just ask your stream for if they know of anyone. It kind of surprises me that more streams don't do this. En lieu of playing stuff from Youtube, giving good indie bands exposure seems like a win-win to me.

If you care so much, maybe contact the bands yourself, and play them on your own stream. I'd think Tyler has enough to do as it is.

Pretty sure there are online archives that you can download music for free and stream if it has a creative commons licence.
Though i do like the lack of music on Tyler's stream. I just listen to my own on low and he can talk if he wants.

In any case, I think a stream is better off without having music mixed in. I want to give you game sounds and sometimes my commentary and you can mix your own music in as you like.

I love Tylers stream for the fact that his little bits of commentary are often very insightful. The lack of, or presence of music doesnt really worry me, because I am simply there for the games and his thoughts.
