Wow... I'm a Tyler fan but whew, couldn't have thought this up.

Today Tyler is going to stream with what is potentially our new Liquid stream layout. We have two layouts to test and will swap between them occassionally during the session. Come back here to vote in the poll which one you preferred. Experience it on his stream tonight.
+ Show Spoiler +Important to note is the difference between a first person stream and a tournament stream. With the tabs of a tournament obs top left you can cover a some of the things that in a regular game are covered by bottom right info such as knowing about upgrades being done cause it was being upgraded top left for about a minute. So it's important to note the difference between player streams and tournaments in this. I.e. if you would be thinking all tournaments have it bottom right and I have never been bothered by it the fact that that sort of stuff has the tabs top left plays a big role in that. Try to argue from the perspective of a first person stream viewer. Just a small summary of what you are giving up by banners bottom right - Not being able to see what command (attack, stop, hold) a unit is on
- Not being able to see whether a unit has stim/concussive/fungal/etc.
- Not being able to see if there's enough energy for a command.
- Not being able to see which units can be produced from a building (due to addons, citadel etc)
- Cooldown for blink/corruption.
Essentially you should be deciding whether the cleaner look with an empty screen, and better readability (bottom is larger) of the banners at embedded streams size is worth giving up the game info that bottom right provides. ![[image loading]](http://www.teamliquid.net/staff/LiquidNazgul/Top.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://www.teamliquid.net/staff/LiquidNazgul/Bottom_Right.jpg)

can we have his face in the unit portrait?

I don't get what it is, but I cannot see those pictures. This happens to me all the time in TL. I use Google Chrome and it just cuts it off..... I know this is in the wrong thread, but it is really annoying me.

can we have his face in the unit portrait? We'll consider it but that space is really off in dimensions for it so not too sure about it really. Could probably work around it with some funky design tricks.

I like info on top. You don't lose any information in the bottom right (more is always better), and I think it's good for the sponsors because people's eyes are drawn to the top of the screen after lots of conditioning from tournaments.
EDIT: The webcam and TL logo balance each other out nicely the way it is. IMO.
