HyperX (www.kingston.com/hyperx) has given the eSports scene an incredible amount of support throughout the years. While most fans first know HyperX through their series of RAM and SSD commercials featuring HuK and IdrA, the involvement of HyperX in eSports over the years has been so much deeper. DreamHack, Intel Extreme Masters, Incredible Miracle, Evil Geniuses, and Dignitas are just a few of the organizations they have worked with to help keep this scene going. We're proud that a company that has been so deeply involved in eSports has decided to not only sponsor Liquid, but has gone all out and become our new head sponsor. We're extremely happy to be working together with HyperX, and we'll do our best to represent them in a way befitting both of our reputations. Their support will allow us to expand our team in new and exciting ways in 2014.
Our team uniform will be updated to have the HyperX logo up front and center in our head sponsor spot, while our Dota2 team will be bringing an updated banner to tournaments as well.
Also, our players will be rocking some new gear to tournaments. After producing high quality memory and flash products for over 10 years, HyperX is now branching out into the audio market with a brand new headset, the HyperX Cloud. We had the pleasure of trying a couple of their prototypes, and they are some of the most comfortable headsets that we've used. From here on out, you'll see Liquid players using the new HyperX Cloud while streaming, at tournaments, and during a variety of other activities...
I want to give a special thank you to Shiny Things/The Little App Factory who have been with us since the beginning. They supported us before eSports became big in the West, back when we needed them the most. Without them, we could not have sent our players to Korea, enjoyed as much success in tournaments, or become the team we are today. Our relationship with Shiny Things has never been so much about business as it is about passion for eSports. I hope that every fan of Liquid and eSports appreciates all of the great things Shiny Things allowed us to accomplish. We'll continue to go forward with Shiny Things as one of our regular sponsors.

I JUST bought a Crucial SSD over a Kingston one that was the same price. This might have changed my decision lol. I did buy HyperX for my laptop when I noticed they were sponsoring a LAN I was going to. When the product becomes a comodity basically you're buying customer support and community support (eSports).
Happy for them, but kinda disappointed at the same time. Let's hope this sponsorship is just the start and they'll announce a new player soon or bring back TL Attack, HyperX Edition.

Liquid MKP incoming! MKP may not have the success of taeja, but I think we can all agree taeja has the personality of a doorknob. MKP gets a lot of stream viewers with no cam or talking much. Imagine if a team could get him a cam and interact on stream more. His stream numbers would go through the roof.

I was just wondering if Liquid players are required to wear the HyperX headphone during all their matches. As Taeja is wearing his one over the soundproofed one from IEM. Furthermore if I remember correctly, TLO wore his one around his neck during another IEM.
