Wish I was 10 years younger and i'd be up for this but in london They've put a lot of money into making plymouth more of a modern, nice city.. Gardens all over the place, futuristic architectures, white slab surfaces, and one of those massive out door tv's etc. its pretty neat at times shame to miss out on you!. good luck with your endevours

Also, wondering if UK people are going to be participating in the Shropshire, telford i43 tournament at the end of august. Its moved from newbury and there is a sc2 tournament there and 2.5k is the minimum prize pool. Demuslim lives in Cologne Germany XD, Also you will see all the usual top UK players (Lau, Gomas, BlinG, Pureball, rANDY) I assume

I know you wont listen because you are excited and when excited you tend to ignore rational or dismiss it as being overly negative etc etc, I am the worst culprit of this in the world. But this is a HUGE commitment, you will need to be practising >6 hours a day and not just with each other. Bear in mind that being a pro gamer is not as fun as you would expect, in terms of pay it is minuscule and the hours are dire. May I suggest that before you do this you try the life of a pro gamer for a month before and see if you can manage it and its still what you want you may find its not for you, and its better to discover this now. Anyways good luck, hope you do succeed but remember there is a reason the UK sc scene is so bad. Plans for preliminary test runs have already been drawn. Financially sound, sc2 isn't about the money for me. It's about the desire to improve and exceed as much as possible. Excited is the opposite of the emotion, caution is the first feeling. This isn't the first, nor will it be the last undertaking of such scale that i'll be part of. thanks for your concern, your voice of reason is echoing the one in my own head . Slow, steady progression is the aim here, nothing is rushed, no excited decisions. Commitment, passion and calm thoughts are the driving forces at work here.

Great to hear, right attitude, sounds like you know what you are doing. As long as you are ready to walk away if it all goes tits up, you are in the right frame of mind. Would love to be joining in on this because it sounds like a lot of fun, If you are short a man, and if I get shit exam results I could see myself coming. But Very small possibility, also I wouldnt be able to come if you didnt have a bowling lane locally, I am so addicted. Anyways, good luck and win some pride for the UK. Oh and I forgot to say you need to be aware of the race of your players, you cannot only have one of a race, you would need at least 2 players of the race, so that when one starts losing the other can sit them down and deconstruct their loss so that the same bad beat doesnt occur again.

Uhuh, keeping track of races had some pretty high up e-sportsy people get in touch this evening, which brings with it a certain set of advantages and experience. So far so good. Looks like player slots will be all full up very soon. But dont let that dissuade anybody from getting in touch! - you never know who has to drop out for x reason.

However, if there's still a spot open in about 350 days you can add +1 to your house Oh, and, best of luck ~

Anyway I really hope to see something good come of this. I won't be in uk until september (gonna be in seoul actually over summer living the nerd dream or something like that) but if this house gets going you can count on me to at least pay a visit and treat all the players/any other staff for a nice meal out in Plymouth after then, to show my support

I was just thinking to myself the other day that a few more gaming houses with high goals should be sprouting up outside of korea and around the globe as a natural progression of the exploding state of sc2 esports. I have 0 relevant experience to contribute so take everything i say with 2 pinches of salt, but I'd guess what might really help a lot is to find sponsors and start a team that's based and practices there. A sponsor could cover many essential costs like travel to tournaments and ideally relieve the pressure on the players to work to feed themselves, which takes away from practice time and gives up an edge to the korean pro houses who have the 'luxury' of dedicating all their time to practice. Also just out of curiosity would you open the doors of this house to talented players from mainland europe? imo talent and how 'personable' a player is and what they can bring to a house should be more important than whether or not they're english, but hopefully a bit of all 3 is doable. Anyway I really hope to see something good come of this. This isn't a UK ONLY team and every1 else stay out. It's just much easier to organise, and you don't need to fuss around with visa's etc. Like i replied to a previous poster, if a euro/na player has the ability to move, and the paperwork to do so, that's totally fine. Also, you can take this Reply as formal acknowledgement of your offer (which must be adhered to) of a meal. See you in september
