I've been in Korea since 2007 and I leave Korea in the beginning of 2012, so I would be ashamed if I didn't meet anyone from Teamliquid in Korea my whole time here.
I live in Osan so that's about hour 30 mins away from Gangnam/Kangnam, but I'll be on vacation time that day so I wouldn't have to worry about rushing from work and getting to Gangnam.

Last time I went to the TL meetup was @ IEM Cologne, and there were sooo many progamers there..incredible!

I see that quite a few people that don't actually live in Korea are going to be there or are there right now (in Korea). I was just wondering if it was easy to spend a few years there or if it's all vacation and people just going because they want to.

Now I would be considering to come, however I think it would be probably more worth it to stay at least a week or two. So I should be planning ahead, but right now I have no idea what I should do/visit over there. Another questions are: - does one have to have any special vaccinations - where is a good place to stay (like a hostel or sth.) and how much does it cost - how does one get from the airport to your Party

1) no 2) you can find heaps of cheap hostels on sites like hostelworld.com, most of the ones I've stayed in have been pretty good 3) Just take the bus with the big "Teamliquid" sign directly from the airport***

Earlyier this week I was booking a trip to the Hospital to finally do something other than moan about my leg and for some reason when asked if I was doing anything on this day I decided to say no. I think I can probabbly still make it because the meet ups not untill 8 O'clock and I think my co-teacher wants to use my bad health as an opportunity to skip out of school early but we'll see. I'll let you know closer to the time, I can probabbly get the appointment moved to since this is Korea.
Shit did Bisu and Jaedong just get drawn against each other in the MSL group selection thats mad. Bisu looks excitted Jaedong looks pissed off, Maybe we can discuss that else where.

There's a bus that goes to the Gangnam bus station directly from the airport and I think it was $16 two years ago. You can walk 2 blocks to the subway from there.
Taxis are stupid cheap. Me and Zatic took a cab from Suwon to Gangnam and it was like $30, wtf.

After a couple of failed attempts to buy a ticket with cash I decided to dash the plan. I'm going to take the ferry in 2 weeks, which should be easier.
Oh wow theres a direct bus from my little town to Gagnam station thats pretty useful. My legs not been that great this week (actually really strugerling) but with a direct bus starting at my town I can definately get a seat and sit down the whole way. I'll wear some blacked out glasses and pretend to fall asleap so I can ignore all the Agimas who come and stand next to me expecting me to get up and give me a horrible look because I can't explain I have a bad leg to them 나는 다리(를?) 아프다?

I'm the laziest guy on the planet I just don't think I am cut out for learning languages. All the teachers at my school are really helpful and happy to help me out when I ask which is cool ^^. Any surport would be apreciated but what I need really is someone to just stand behind me and crack me around the head a couple of times a day and tell me to get off my ass and do some work. maybe just slightly before I've watched seven epsiodes of something and wasted the whole day.
Actually when I first moved here I had no internet for 2 weeks and studied so hard probabbly half the Korean I know (not a lot) comes from that 2 week exposure to no internet. Maybe I should disconect my internet for 2 hours a day or something.Actually maybe I should just sign up for lessons that would force me to more.

Haha... me and Doa left early to catch the subway and still didn't catch the last transfer train.. we had to catch a cab with a couple guys who luckily were going to the same area and one of whom knew a little English. They saved our butts.

Great meeting up with all of you guys!! I was the asian guy in the suit who got abit excited throughout the whole night lol. What happened to everyone who went to hong dae? I got in a later cab and got off at hong dae station but I couldn't see anyone...so I circled around like 5 blocks and caught a cab back to an anma in kang nam on the recommendation of the cab driver but SO disappointed...lets just say it was a fucking waste of my 200 bucks for a fucking shitty sex with an average chick and the only meal they give you is instant noodles...Damn I was hoping someone like Rekrul could point me in the right direction for a good anma but alas he disappeared way too soon =( anyway I met some awesome people last night and it would be cool to catch up again...in GSL or something

I got to Sinchon with Martin and as he went home (cuz he lives like a few blocks away from there) I wandered around the place for a while and tried to find a bus to get home but all buses were finished by then ㅜㅜ. So I got a taxi that cost me like 45,000W! and I got home after 3am....

Yeah we waited at the Hongdae station quite long, afterwards we went to a PC bang until ~3:30AM. Afterwards I went to Burger King to wait for the first subway to go back to Incheon and had quite some fun there with some drunken weirdos ^^
