It seemed more like a clever way to request a ban which users will do so they can focus on their studies.

I'm just felt I had to point it out because of tree.hugger's response which I guess I should have quoted instead. Also if you saw one of the bans for martyring the explanation was Mod note: please don't write "I'm sure I'll be banned" because that's an automatic ban. It doesn't matter what your post says. You could say I love Hot_Bid he is so handsome, I'll be banned for this" and I will ban you. --HB http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=211705#1

You are not a mod. And besides, your information is faulty. You have no idea how many forums are inactive or disabled, the reason I put this in the "ask a mod thread" was because I wanted a knowledgable answer. If I had wanted any random Joe poster to answer I would have made a blog.

By my estimates, somewhere in the 32 to 35 range. You're welcome

I actually thought Grubby vs. Moon was pretty terrible. G1 alright, but G2 and 3 were just 2 super passive players who don't know how to finish people out in SC2. There was no poking or prodding or harassing going on, and not much scouting. It was just macro up, ram unit balls at eachother.

I loved how enthusiastic Gretorp and iNc were about the games — you can tell they really want this league (their project) to take off. It's cool. Also, and I think any BW fan will tell you: the idea of having a SC event of this scale based out of the US and featuring mostly foreign players is still a little surreal. We have been pining for a bigger American SC scene for so long and it's finally here (and growing fast!). I hope iNc and Gretorp soon cease being so apologetic for NASL's minor shortcomings. It sort of detracts from the cast to hear them pandering to nitpicking idiots. NASL is great and screw anyone who disagrees! Complaints can be handled off-air.

It sort of detracts from the cast to hear them pandering to nitpicking idiots. NASL is great and screw anyone who disagrees! Complaints can be handled off-air. I disagree about the apologizing. MLG did a fairly poor job of making clear that, during the weekend of Dallas, they were both aware that the stream problems were unacceptable and were moving heaven and earth to fix them. Sure, anyone with half a brain who was reading Lee's or Sundance's Twitter would have realized as much, but stream watchers, I think, were frustrated due to the lack of updates on the stream. I don't think that apologizing is annoying. What I think is annoying is apologizing with a track record of not fixing the things that are being apologized about: see, GOM season 2, which was before they actually started fixing their streaming issues. Dreamhack didn't apologize for their streaming issues yesterday because those issues were truly minor, but NASL has some real problems (a "basement" feel to the studio, audio problems, lighting problems, the observing computer without the highest graphic setting) and so I'm happy that the commentators are letting us know that they're fully aware that some things need to be fixed.

I think we both know I'm not staff or even remotely near a staff member, not sure why you're insulted that I took a stab at your question. Has your question lost considerable quality and interest since someone wanted to throw their two cents of opinion or view on the whole thing? Especially since it's one of pure curiosity. I guess I'm sorry? On April 13 2011 15:26 n.DieJokes wrote: By my estimates, somewhere in the 32 to 35 range. You're welcome Sh, he doesn't want non-mods answering. When reporting a post we get that little text entry box and I'm never comfortable on what to put in it. Should we type in the rule we think is being broken? Summarize what we think is offensive in the post? Post a favorite family recipe? Most troublesome to me is that it looks so small but you can seemingly type a lot into it :| OCD-lite out.

Whenever I report, I just type what I think is wrong with it. It most cases, it's just blatantly obvious which rule is broken. If not, then just type what you think is wrong with it or how it goes against the values of the 10 commandments. That's my thoughts on it. Hope it helps~ Oh and yeah, that small box is endless, it's scary. I can almost type stories in it.
