I have been coming here for quite some time and let me preface this post with the fact that I am not anti - anything, I'm just a regular guy that plays starcraft 2 competitively. However, I feel that a few things need to be brought to light:
#1 People care WAY too much about INSIGNIFICANT things. I constantly see walls of text complaining or somehow analyzing the most trivial and meaningless things about this game, like the OP is looking for a pat on the head from the community. And people feel the need to provide some minor discovery concerning the game in some epic fashioned post that reads like a novel. I just find this all superfluous and completely unnecessary and it makes me question the expectations of this community at large.
#2 There is WAY too much homo-erotic behaviour. The other day I stumble across a "Team Liquid Wrestling Match" thread. I can't avoid watching a train wreck so I open it to unsurprisingly find a homosexual post. As per my original paragraph, I'm not against anything but I do question whether the team liquid members realize that they are being marketed to homosexuals. (Let's be real here, 99.9% of the people who visit these forums are men, and gay men grossly outnumber straight females here). Which is also disturbing to find in these "pro-gamer" picture threads that I occasionally stumble across, which are polluted with gay men commenting on their looks. AGAIN, I have no problems with homosexuality but I again question whether this is the intent of these posts, or the subject has given discretion for this.
#3 There are way too many "wahhh what should I do" threads. Usually involving COMPLETELY OBVIOUS SOLUTIONS. People looking for emotional compassion and guidance on completely stupid topics makes me not only question the bulk of this community, but the competency of our species as a whole.
In closing, I think that Team Liquid moderators should sit back and really think about what kind of community they are trying to foster here because right now all I see is homo-erotic behavior, people being rewarded for being whining losers and people completely wasting their time and talents on superfluous content.
Why not have contests where these people can focus their energy on providing REAL content for this site?
I'm sure that this post will be banned but at least I'll know a moderator took the time to read it.
User was temp banned for this post.
Mod note: please don't write "I'm sure I'll be banned" because that's an automatic ban. It doesn't matter what your post says. You could say I love Hot_Bid he is so handsome, I'll be banned for this" and I will ban you. --HB

I think your post just covered both 1 and 3 criteria. Nice work man.
You didn't make any sense at all. Forums are boards for discussion between people of mutual interest. I don't see anything wrong with most threads (even if some are beyond reason)

Quoted and bolded for the most extreme irony.
Also, while you may have gotten a warning or simply had your thread closed before, martyring will surely get you banned.

If you're banned it's for martyring not for stating your opinion. An opinion well articulate and mannered are rarely banned. See the ten commandements of TL for the martyring part.

Lol you pretty much just did exactly what you don't like; if you don't like the community feel free to go to Disneyland and stay there
oh and no matter how much you say you aren't against anything - you sound incredibly homophobic.
I guess things must be tough..

I wasn't aware it was still 1960...

While I actually agree with most of it you have to understand its the internet. Behind a computer screen people will say anything. They can feel comfortable doing so. Now if team liquid were a group that got together on the weekends or something you wouldnt see some of the discussions you see here.

1. Why do you care what people think, use this forum as a guide. Ignore the rest.
2. It's not this forum, I haven't seen a single website/forum/whatever on the internet that doesn't have retarded people posting retarded shit.
3. I'd assume that the majority of the users of this forum are of late teen age, which means their mommy and daddy gave there child anything they asked and spoiled them. These kids don't know any better then asking this forum and how to do certain things. Again, I would advise you to ignore it, who cares if some retard sais "how 2 beat 2 rax as zerg, i triad everything i dunno how to up replay LOL". Those people are trash.

LOL, progamers are some of the hottest pieces of meat on the planet.

homo erotic behavior on the internets?

The brazen sign of someone who's never read the TL Commandments.

In starcraft, insignificant individual aspects could compound into a very significant effect. Something as simple as a new rapid larva inject style, or even the thing where flowers would disappear on Lost Temple (?) if Zerg spawned at a certain point allowing players to get a bit of a scouting advantage.

Honestly #2 is a bit absurd, a few threads displaying fanboyism towards programers are obviously going to appear on a forum for progaming. Are there female pro-gamers? No. Is the majority of those who follow pro-gaming male? Yes. This is obviously going to come off as homosexual, but even if it were, that should NOT be something of an issue. If you think it is, you can leave, but the rest of us probably see no problem with it.

I dunno man. This is how it's been for a decade now, if you were in charge I doubt it would last any longer.

"There are way too many "wahhh what should I do" threads."
Want a solution to your tears? Leave the community and go elsewhere.

I'm sure that this post will be banned but at least I'll know a moderator took the time to read it. I really shouldn't bother replying. Your entire post is a hypocritical troll. I think you and everyone else can figure that much out.
1. You are complaining about something that most people ignore. People don't care about your feelings.
2. In my experience it is the people that are most afraid or upset about homosexuality whom have a latent homosexual desire.
3. Your thread reads like a giant whine.
