- There are times where I've been forced to build Venge (S/Y, Butterfly, Deso, etc) or Lina hard carry (BKB, Deso, Euls, crits, etc) in the absence of a true hard carry. - I think once I built AC on Venge when our captain failed to draft a strength hero. - Getting Deso and AC on Gondar because our Legion Commander refused to get these items and neither was viable on any other hero. - One time, I remember getting Radiance on a Bristleback since the rest of my team decided to go rat dota (Furion, Pugna, DP, Alch). That's probably the most weird thing I've done, but it seemed logical for the situation I was in. I'd say my main problem as I try and get used to more carries/mids gradually is knowing what to get when, what to rush, in what situations. Live and learn through experience I guess. | ||

The background is that the other team had OD and Nyx, hence I had basically no mana. Eul's made for a cheap mana regen + int item to try to deal with it. But more than that the increased movespeed made it even harder for enemies to run and, best of all, Eul's allowed for very easy pounces against juking enemies. | ||
