Guy playing tusk immediately decides we lost after looking at hero picks and getting first blooded. I tell him to leave and abandon, he goes "no you leave, you picked chen and you are probbaly noob at it".
Funny part is we mount up a super strong defence and nearly win, but since our tusk is afk (going to the lanes once in a while to soak exp) we barely lose. Well played
Next game pick night stalker offlane, ally picks kotl and goes to lane with me. Should work right? He levels illuminate first, walks into enemy jungle and gets killed by pudge immediately. He dies again and again until he's 0-4 while pudge and wind are both 2-0. So as night stalker i cant even do anything, and we get snowballed to death while the enmy pudge and wind, who are russians, keep spamming the cyrillic version of "EZ" at us.
Is there any less dignified way to get raped?

Had a CK that went basically afk (only farming) after he complained he had a hard lane against Dark Seer. Game was hard. I've had him on my team a few games before, managed to win some of those but he always did retarded shit. Fortunatly for me though, I got to play against him the game after and stomped him, some revenge for that mmr loss at least.

Mark mid, someone else marks too. Figure I'll play nice, mark safe. Pick slark 3rd. Last pick slardar comes into lane taking last hits. Guess who didn't feel like playing to the best of their abilities after that?

Glimpse has different timings for each callback. Miss 1 too many Kinetic Fields because of it.

Really needs to be a solid 1.8 seconds no matter what. I mean yeah it sucks for the interruption of channelling, but it really needs to be like that (I dunno make the initial cast an interrupt)

Dota needs to be 18+ somehow. The fucking children you are forced to play with....
Is there any other game even remotely as miserable to play as this. I guess you really have to get 4.5-5k right away to have any normal games. At least 50% in the 3k bracket is pure cancer.

I'm pretty sure the 4k-5k bracket is the one that is the most frequently complained about, atleast in terms of player behaviour.

Well at least when you hopefully get to the mythical high enough skill bracket to no longer be trash and get into a good in house league, you won't get people randomly throwing games cause someone took a single last hit. Or at least, that is what we all hope and dream is the case. Probably isn't though.

So, I solo queued in again in SEA. Knowing that I was a 2.4kmmr support, I expected the worst out of my teammates. Well, it turned out to be pretty decent start, save for some lag spikes. Lanes were weird but what do you expect from 2kmmr scrubs. Everything was going pretty normally (back and for fights, no one gaining a huge lead) and our gyro was doing really well (the enemy tinker did not have BoT + Dagger until 20 minutes in) and then our Gyro got Aghs first.
Why the fuck would you get Aghs first.
Well, I didn't really trashtalk him cuz he might feed and we lose, so we went along with his decisions and we took fights. It was actually pretty decent. However, when Tinker started to get his groove, we had difficulties pushing in to their Tier 3s and do some high ground defence. Gyro realized this and he said we needed to end fast cuz the enemy team was getting tanky. This hit my nerve cuz if he bought something else instead of the Aghs, we would push into their Tier 3 and get lane of rax no problem. So I called him on it, and he kind of kept quiet and someone else told him to get damage items instead. However, since he was getting burst down and prioritized a lot in fights, he had to get BKB first. Since he had to get BKB first, we couldn't push in the lanes harder. Pair a gyro with no damage at all and an enemy Tinker who can get 3 layers of a level 4 march of the machines, you get a waiting game.
Tbh I didn't really mind playing against a team with a Tinker decent enough to delay our pushes, since I also have a hard time being patient and not getting jumpy in high ground sieges and this would have been a good experience on how to pressure lanes, back out for a while, then bait the enemy team when they get out of their base. However, the fact that it was caused by a Gyro going for Aghs first instead of damage item being the cause of the delay in our game was something else..
and oh, just an idea on how underpowered our gyro was - our invoker wasn't even giving him alacrity.

Well since I am waiting for Valve to do something about all the players who got abandons because of THEIR server issues I decided to start a smurf and boy howdy. Boy howdy. I think I've played six games so far? Two have counted? One of those had a guy feeding self and couriers by minute four?

I'm actually OK if they just won't review the LPQ...whatever. But the fact that it lost me charms is 100% bullshit. The MMR loss is also bullshit but doesn't have a monetary value.
PS next game on smurf had a guy feeding intentionally on mid within about one minute. He fed 18 times. We made it sorta competitive but we had an aba building agi and a pudge (say no more I hope?).
