As soon as I hit Lvl 6 I go to botom lane and we kill two with chainfrost and rightclicks. And snowballed hard from there. I ended up 12/0/23 and highest Level. Team was competent and friendly too. So Lich mid vs. OD, legit or fluke? | ||

Provided there are no outside disturbances (ie ganks) I'm pretty sure Lich is supposed to win the lane. OD's biggest strengths in lane are his ability to deny spell harassment or farming to secure denies and attain a level advantage. As Lich, you will usually have enough mana to keep nuking, and on top of that, will not be at a significant level deficit due to the reworked sacrifice. That being said, you will most likely still be at a major damage difference, since Lich also has a pathetic base damage. The reduced xp lost from denials, however, makes the lane even better for Lich. Also, with the reworked tranqs, OD no longer has essentially infinite sustain in lane, which is yet another plus for Lich. So yeah, I personally think it's legit, but you should probably wait for someone more experienced to confirm that. | ||

I'm not experienced or an expert in any way but I still think the mana pool you'll get and the base damage will be too bad to do anything past 1 nova. Last hitting is impossible and if the OD is half decent, he'll astral you then deny creeps which will balance out the sacrifice bonus XP. | ||

Np, I don't mind, I'm the guest. Playing Sand King. From the start of the game, we win most of the engagements but they have 2 invis heroes (clinkz & bounty hunter), and they get a tad bit annoying to deal with. (If someone bought gem, they instantly all teamed up on the person carrying gem). Nature's Prophet learned how to play halfway through, and the deso combined with the splitpushing and him having a shadowblade was making him a pain in the ass to deal with. In the end we manage to deal with the splitpushing, get a few of them picked for being overconfident once they caught up in levels -> longer respawn times -> we manage to counterpush to win the game. Rus team thanks me for playing well, with my super-original wtf-are-you-doing sandking build. Very satisfied. Sometimes things go nicely.
