Just play a game with ancient apparition, Zeus was mid on my team. We use our ulti together to get kill ennemy heroes everywhere on map, both get aghanim scepter, it was hillarious. I end up 15-2 and Zeus 15-3, our carry 1-6. Probably my funniest game on game on dota 2

me and my buddies started playing some themed teams just for kicks and they work pretty well. my favorite was the team heal lineup with juggernaut, necro, omni, witch doctor, and i think a kotl. every team fight ended with the our entire team with close to full life, and it became a landslide win, just incredibly fun to play.

our team with big ults, using naga, dark seer, lich, kunkka, and enigma didn't work out so well but was also pretty fun to play. rubick pwnd us LOL

Had one this morning, I was jungling on NP, was almost oom and about to tp back to the fountain, when a support nyx walked over from the safe lane just to give me his last clarity; I didn't even ask for it.

Clock is probably better than Bloodseeker for that purpose. Actually, if you get so far ahead that enemy heroes are constantly running back to the fountain, AA+any global damage can just bombard the fountain until everyone in it dies.

Replace seeker with Veno, and you actually have a balanced lineup that is terrifying in a teamfight. Veno ult + globals can easily kill people.

Weird but great game in CM last night. The captain ignores all of our suggestions (someone wanted Doom, others wanted different supports) and drafts Ench for himself, Puck, Gyro, Io, and Riki. Semi-crazy picks, and the team was raging, but our captain says "Now we are forced to work together".

And you know what...we kind of did. Riki/Ench became a great aggressive dual lane. I took Io as a hard support (first time playing him) and had a blast scooting around the map tethering and healing (only did one real relocate gank by myself, but it was all good). Our Puck didn't really know how to play his hero (went Treads/Shivas) but was good on missing calls. We teamed up at the right times and won handily (one guy said that the other team was newb, but hey, it's low level solo queue, everyone's kind of newb). http://dotabuff.com/matches/415126541

Won a 62 minutes game, end score 75 77. They had a relatively balanced line up : drow, shadow shaman, bat woods, alche mid and timber offlane. Ours was mid skywrath, offlane clock, axe and tusk safelane and me in woods on ursa (4 on 5 randomed in AP). A bit of flaming from dual stack clock and tusk, we respond, the quick blink from bat does wonder for the ennemy team. Suddenly without any agreement everyone shut up except for action calls. I think all 10 players spent half their earned gold into buyback and deaths. I had 469 gpm and ended with phase boots, 4 seconds bkb, vlad blink and basher.

just now I played my 200th real game of dota2, not counting games with bots. i have exactly 100 wins. this is by no means anything to brag about, but I played LoL for three years and never had a 50% win rate or better. I know I suck, but this is a major confidence boost! woooooo!

We now have MMR. Somehow my games are less often filled with flamers.
Initially I thought this MMR is bad, but now I really like it. It is so much more relaxing now to play

just won the fastest game I've ever played (20:46) that wasn't due to any abandons. Our lineup was NP, pugna, death prophet, venom, and shadow shaman. Every single tower of opposing side was gone by around 15min. It's the first pub I've played where everyone was just set on pushing...

So i was playing ranked and a guy in my team picks picks timber and ask for solo offlane, so I pick NP to jungle (i don't really like trilanes that much anymore). Opposing team waits until the last second before creep spawn to pick clock storm disruptor riki and tree. I mean, I know how frustrating rat dota can be but picking 4 "direct" counters to my hero that's quite ridiculous (even 5 if you count treant and his ability to heal towers?).
The part were it's good is that even though i fed quite a lot (ended up going 3-11-21) i gave them the full rat treatment and won the game after 60 min, riki was incredibly fed but everytime they tried to push our rax i made them run around the map after me.
It felt like justice

After spending too much time in the QQ thread lately, I just have to say my last 2 games have had really awesome teammates. All communicating, playing good and keeping a positive attitude throughout the games. There's still hope! Dota can be really awesome =)

1) Found some people that are fun to play with and who have a Teamspeak Server running. Good god, this game is 500% better with actual communication happening.

2) Playing CM, game goes long. Our LS is superfat (we trilaned him with me and Omni supporting, basicly couldn't die if he tried) but they have NP with Necro 3.Our crew of Tinker, LS, Rubik and Omni go pushing while I stay at home to defend base.

Long story short: I killed NP everytime we pushed and he tried to splitpush. One time with ulti and two time with Necrobook minions & frostbite. Everytime we take a lane of rax. Soooooooooo satisfying, especially killing Prophet with Necrominions.

Ranked CM is fucking awesome so far. Winrate's only about 50%, but people are playing seriously and working together. Still more QQ and flame than I'd like, and some teams are still uncarryable, but it's a vast improvement over unranked. And you can actually get a CM game going in ranked in the first place.
