![]() Not queiing with friends, or anyoe in particular is bad though. I find joy in any game where I play with my mates, be it win or loss.

Those almost-biggest-play-ever moments where you were so close but failed. Makes you appreciate all the subtleties of the game, like if you treadswapped you would have made it, or popped your wand earlier, or taken a different path. The top-10 weekly plays are fun yea but when you almost do something amazing and then have a 35 sec respawn timer to think of how you can do it better next time....now that is when I'm having a good time.

Their omniknight got an abandon since he thought they had already won and was sitting in the fountain, while we held off megacreeps and diving heroes for the next fifteen minutes. My friend was blasting the lord of the ring's theme through his mic, and we were all having a fun time playing our old-school wc3 enfo's defense clone. We eventually lost, but what we really gained was worth far more. We had found the true meaning of

My team was just good. They won their lanes, they communicated, they teamfought well, and those are the moments where it doesn't matter how well you do, it's about enjoying the game with other people. Strangers you don't know but feel comfortable just chilling with. I just love it when you get chill people on your team in general.

The enemy's team fight is disgustingly good with double refreshers on tide and magnus. They also have a farmed alchemist and a dark seer. I just split-pushed them to death, while my teammates got slaughtered at every fight, I just pushed a lane. I got bottom lane and we didnt lose anything. I got top lane but the enemy said 'fuck it' and tried to all in mid. I tp'd home with around 4k gold and stupidly bought a basher (now i dont have buyback). I ate 2 ravs and 2 rp's but fortunately the alche cant reach me (their creeps blocking the way lol) so i just went 3 AM on their asses. I finished the game with only 7/2/12 but with 468 cs (i think). Largest cs of my life. It would've been humiliating if I died without buy back and threw away what my teammates did for me (holding the fort while I pushed). Awesome game ![]()

Their team: Drow, CK, windrunner, rubick, pudge We were slightly behind all game but still keeping up - lost most fights to start with, but as soon as they had to retreat in each fight we killed enough to keep it level (bh+timberchain+storm+infest is pretty good at chasing). At some point a DD rune appears on bottom and SS zips halfway across the map to pick it up... appearing just in time to see Pudge bottle it, with Rubick and Drow right next to him. He escapes into our (radiant) jungle with the last of his mana, and they chase. As they walk into our jungle (with CK as well now) we're all waiting and I jump into the middle of them with my new shivas. I eat all their stuns and die, but as a result CM (who had previously been one-hit by CK in every fight) hit them all with the full ultimate without being interrupted and SS, BH and naix cleaned up - even the drow with an aegis. At this point I'm expecting our team to go run after windrunner who's on the far side of the map, or for lifestealer to return to jungling, or something equally daft. nope! they push all the way up bottom lane, kill the rax, and take the T2 and 3 on mid as well before I respawn. From there it was only a matter of time. The best thing about that game was that both teams played pretty well - nobody fed (CM died a lot, but as the lone squishy support without an escape on our team...) and the teams were even on kills even up to the end. The game was decided by a single suboptimal engagement from them, and I don't see games that close very often.

That feeling man. Double if I randomed a support hero and we become the best of buddies winning the entire early-mid game for our team and doing all the support stuff right. I love you CM players.

Just had that the other day. RD, second to last pick, they had Huskar Dknight Pubseeker Nyx Warlock. Yuck. We had no carry so I grabbed Antimage (because between Huskars dunking and nyx's nyxing they would have fun). Went bot with Visage. Had to be the best visage that wasn't me, let me drink his salves, got courier, bought wards, and best of all, when NS and Undy started going on about how I'm not helping right as I grabbed Bfury, went on mic and told them off because he believed I could carry them against their 3-core. And I did. Thank you for believing in me, based bro Visage.

Did everything from warding to zoning to ganking the other lanes too. Singularly best support i've ever met. He even asked "hey do you need anything in lane? You should be fine right? Im going help the other lanes but I will TP back to support you when you need it". Proceeded to drop good defensive wards and always TPed when I require help WITHOUT ME ASKING. From then on, I have a favorable opinion on all Crystal Maiden pickers.

+ Show Spoiler + Our team: Slark (me), Ogre Magi, Nightstalker, Sven, Enchantress Opposite team : Alchemist, Shadow Shaman, Dazzle, Juggernaut, Venomancer After rolling early game with me going Godlike and NS going 6-1, we were up 20-2, looking set to roll the game. But the opposite alchemist has been farming rather quickly after getting a shadowblade, and our NS (who was also our mid) disconnects (into an abandon) and leaves us playing 4 vs 5. Our sven then decides its a good time to start feeding them (going 2-8), and then the tables turn horrendously, with the game becoming 24-19, against an extremely fed alchemist + moderately strong juggernaut. Thankfully, I had completed both SnY and Skadi by minute 24, allowing me to barely escape all teamfights alive, and building up a butterfly. The game devolves into an extremely close 4 vs 5, but being one hero down, we end up losing almost every team fight, due to mass disables from Shadow Shaman, Alchemist, Dazzle along with Veno's slow + ult. I somehow manage to grab the Roshan after barely surviving a teamfight. Another lucky encounter in the jungle allows me quickly kill off both the juggernaut and the alchemist, and after cleaning up the teamfight, being the only guy standing, I manage to push down the mid and bottom rax. I breathe a sigh of relief thinking we had won.... but we once again proceed to lose more team fights, with me being the only one escaping (and everyone else on my team dying). The enemy team decides to push mid as 5, while I slowly push top. My team buys back and tries to stall them as much as possible, and we lose mid rax and both towers on the ancient. But I manage to kill the top tower and top rax at this point, and through a miracle, my team scores a kill on their juggernaut and glyphs. Rest of the enemy team then teleports to defend the base (but they nicely come in 1 by 1 due to tp delays), I just 1 v 4 and kill all of them, leading into a rampage after the jugger buys back. Best game of my life. I never realized slark was so insanely powerful, especially once you get an abyssal. It was a horrible decision for them to TP back , but my team delayed them long enough for them to become confused and teleport back :D. Edit: I realize this now reads like a brag post, but I had to post this T_T Updated: This happened a year or so ago. I was playing solo mid Tiny (rather poorly), after a horrendous start where a sidelane support ganked me, once with haste and once with invis and I ended up dying twice before level 5. An idiot on my team was flaming me non-stop because apparently he wanted to go mid (but never told me), and I was getting stressed out with the non stop flaming, making me play even more poorly. All our lanes were losing, and I was underfarmed/underlevelled due to the ganks. But we had a jungle Dark Seer on our team, who was really really supportive, even though I had never played with him before in my life. He actually asked the other guy to stfu, and then proceeded to help me out with ganks. On the side he farmed up aghanims + refresher + shivas guard, while I steadily improved my own game. He almost single handedly won the game for us with some excellent teamfights (this was before DS wall was nerfed and allies could create illusions), all the while encouraging me and being really really friendly. I made sure to commend him after the game ![]()

A bad decision by them trying to take our mid rax allows me to safely take their bottom rax and tp back in time to defend. We push them back but overcommit causing the death of most of our team while they are all alive/respawned. They start taking all our rax, and I know we can't fight them with Medusa and NS being 6 slotted and the rest of the team being very farmed as well. Veno is flaming me for not doing anything all game despite being 4-15 and tusk is complaining that mirana never ganked his lane. Meanwhile, I look at their base and see our bottom lane has pushed to the T4 towers, so I buy some TP boots for a last minute hail mary. I TP into the base and kill the towers before they realize what is happening. Morphling was the only one with a TP, and since they were busy taking rax they still had towers to get through while I only had to kill the throne. Morphling TPs back but I just ignore him and throne winning the game that seemed completely out of reach. My friend and I were laughing for 5 minutes straight, epic way to win :D
