FIRST PICKING OFF NP, THEN KOTL, THEN SF. The momentum goes our way and were able to snipe out all their towers. And from there we slowly climbed into victory with our carry Aba vs their carry AM.
It was a good game. All the shit talking and cyka dota... Good god...

I have a 5 man team!
I showed some friends the game, and it took a while but 3 of them have been fiddling with it and decided they want to get better, and then we got one of my pals gf to give it a shot too. Everyone is a noob but I'm so excited to have a group to play with

Coming back after like half year playing 1-2 games/month, playing solo matchmaking, and on like my first or second night in one game, I pick ES, go top support a random guy. He starts by saying something like "are you sure this is going to work out?", I'm like "yea dont worry bro I ninja! everythings gonna be fine...".
In the end we had so much fun, they invited me (turns out they were 4 together), later we added each other on skype, and have been playing together ever since!
And that is not the only time such thing happened to me. These things keep me playing this game still...

Game 1: Axe guy that sits in jungle for 20 minutes flames me (and generally everyone) for not having any cs (game was 1-9 after ~10 mins so...).
Game 2: Axe guy is on enemy team (this time he's mid-bat having about 0 effect)... We just rape them hard.

watched a game on Alia's stream - everything went wrong for Alia's team, the enemy antimage managed to get a minute 11 Midas+BFury+Treads, but somehow Alia's team managed to pull the game back and stage a comeback. Fucking golden, I love it - even when behind by a huge margain, it's still possible to win a game of Dota

Anyone else noticed how the compendium matches just seems much nicer than regular mm? Just had a match where all 10 people who played spoke english, and we even ended up discussing the right and wrong things we did. I don't even mind losing when we have this relaxed atmosphere and everyone is being nice to each other.

I guess thats part of it. People who are willing to shell out for something like a compendium might just be generally nicer people. Or at least more mature.

I have two. The first I wasn't really a part of. I queued, got in a Random Draft, got Storm Spirit. K cool. Well, one of the guys on their team randomed Beastmaster and quit before the game started. We all agreed to dc, 4v5 isn't fun. Then I saw that it was recorded as a loss which I wasn't expecting, and noticed something very strange in the replay summary. So strange that I had to watch it.

The Rubick and Shadowfiend stayed in the game, and Shadowfiend just owned face up until he was right about to kill the ancient. Then he died. And dropped his rapier. GG, Shadowfiend ragequit and Rubick won. I'm so glad I got to see this :D
The second one was one of my longer games, playing Least Played mode: http://dotabuff.com/matches/245879285. I was Magnus top with Windrunner, Disruptor Mid, Sven and Kunkka bot. Our lanes were awful and we suffered for it, but aside from a little passive agressiveness from Disruptor things were okay. Well they snowballed, especially their Huskar, and no one except me knew not to attack Abaddon when his ulti triggered, so things were shaky, we lost all our towers and they had us beat.
I'm not sure when our comeback was triggered, but I think it had something to do with our hilarious carry Windrunner going full YOLO with Aghanims-Daedalus-Desolator-AlmostLinkinsSphere and everyone else willing to work together and not give up on the game. At 30 minutes they had us staring down the barrel of a gun, at 60 minutes it was GGWP, Radiant victory. I played more support that game, but between Windrunner, Disruptor and I we had enough stuns and lockdown to teamkill them, albeit by the skin of our teeth. Everyone was hilarious and chill about things and it was one of the greatest games I've ever played.

This is not a really shiny moment of dota, but it felt really good. I had a nice team, I randomed abba, I trilane with disruptor and jugg, we net an easy first kill with glimpse and orb of venom on their solo hard lane at first creepwave. I then rotate mid (boots orb of venom first!!), annoy warlock, come back a second later, get a kill for my mid on him. I then go annoy their trilane bot, messing up their pull. Disruptor does nice job to feed jugg some kills, jugg taunts and insults Russians in all chat. We have a nice lead, but the longer the game goes, the more ineffective jugg is as he went for battlefury, followed by butterfly and then desolator. Now he flames us despite him only being able to use his ulti and die. I mute him. We lose despite huge lead mid game. He says in allchat "come kill me mid, my mates are noobs"
Next game, same guy picks jugg after I randomed morph and called safelane, and this time he feeds and go for late shadowblade then agha. Again the other mates are very nice guy trying their best, this time they feed a lot, but it does not matter as they're cool and cooperate.
Next game, he's on the ennemy team, third time in a row I have very nice mates who chat about what we do, The jugg feeds first blood on I, support tusk, he rotated top to feed me because he was safelane bot at the beginning. He then feeds weaver solo hard lane a lot. He goes jungle and is killed 3 times by rotating invoker. I can't resist taunting him in all chat, the ennemy team is nice too, but say he just spams "well played!" He then becomes mad, feed courrier 2 or 3 times, sange and yasha build this time. Many people reported him this game. It's maybe not the best moment of dota, but it was good, knowing he has been chatbanned and reported again, and we raped him.

A compendium match yesterday, solo mm. I was on dire, playing ds (ds clock doom gyro silencer on dire vs lina sd alch qop weaver on radiant). We do the lanes as it was in the game, meaning me and clock went bot (btw what was rattlesnake (?) thinking when doing this). Well they proceed to trilane sd lina alch at bot. Early on gyro (iirc) dced, there was some chat, when at some point I say "thats not how you are supposed to lane", traying to be ironic, referring to that when the actual game was played, the radiant team went trilane top. And in the few compendium games i played, almost always the teams lanes according to what the pro-teams had done.
Well turns out my irony was hidden too well, as Lina then responds by saying something like "were free to do what we want"and "what you gonna do, report us?" To which I answer "Nah we're just gonna win".
We screw the early-game quite much, alch has early midas and we cant stop him from farming, gyro and silencer dont care out using their ults. Lina keeps saying stuff like "what did you say at the start ds?"

But then at some point we suddenly start to win most teamfights; even though alch might be bigger problem he died quite fast every fight, maybe it's just them being overconfident. I don't exactly understand how, but gyro is farmed a lot, no idea how he did this after some early deaths and refusing to kill our stacked ancients for several minutes. Doom and clock are also quite fed, and I have aghs while also suporting a little. but I still don't think I played a good game. Silencer also doing ok.
So in the end we win even though I thought that they could easily outcarry us, and the win felt really good

Good moments are when games are close, and you somehow pull out the win, it's a great feeling. Another one is when I play wr and get a sick shackle shot on the enemy and my carries own them, and than say good job to me lol. Idk I like playing with nice people.

Played a game where 3 teammates abandoned and 1 opponent. Played out an epic 2v4 game with me as Axe and my ally as Centaur Warrunner, nearly won too ^^

Playing abba, and keeping people alive can feel so satisfying. I can see why people want to be a doctor now lol

Ok, first post =)
I was playing with some friends, we were a 5 man stack. That's a good moment in DotA to begin with. However, we played some games and one of them were just epic. The game wasn't a stomp but we were slowly loosing the game, our raxes mid was destroyed and me (playing drow) was pretty good farmed but the enemy team was winning most of the teamfights. We had a pretty good lineup, me as Drow, Magnus, Void, and two supports that i don't remember. Their Naix was really pumped and killing us easily. So, at a very late stage of the game i decided to go Divine Rapier.. We all know this is very high risk/high reward, the enemy team didn't see me getting it so their Naix just walked up the ramp and was going to kill us all. But then, BAM! Manta activaded Drow with Magnus buff and rapier. The dmg was insane and we managed to kill Naix once then pushing like crazy and when we got to their base he was out again, and he went down one more time and we won! It was really fun! Sometimes Rapier is the way to go 
Not bragging, we were obviously loosing. Just lucky with alot of money at the right time and it was a great feeling to be able to comeback from that position.

i mean, were having fun, which is the entire point of dota anways right?
