Can't adjust gamma in SC2?

No matter how low or high I put the gamma slider in SC2 it just refuses to go brighter. I'm playing in fullscreen mode and I have a R9 280X.

You might be able to adjust it in GPU driver

Only issue with that is I can only change the gamma for the whole desktop rather than just that game. It wasn't like this with my old AMD card.

I'm having this same issue. Nvidia Titan, newest drivers. I've tried rolling back to previous drivers already, no luck.

I solved this. Looks like it's a Win 8.1 issue. I had to uninstall KB2887595 from Windows Update.

Are you in any form of windowed mode? It needs to be in fullscreen, not windowed(fullscreen) to adjust the gamma.

Thank you so much. Been uninstalling and installing gfx drivers for some hours now. How could you possibly know it was that specific update that screwed it up?

Sadly I'm having the same issue, as I don't want to change my desktop gamma just the games. I'm running XP x64 however and a GTX 260 55nm with the most recent "official driver" release (not at home to run a dxdiag to check the ver #).

Hey, I had the same issue for ages and I found an easy fix, don't know if it will work for you though. I was running a program used to decrease the blue light at night time to aid sleep. It turns out this application was somehow blocking the gamma change even when disabled for an hour. In order to prevent it changing the gamma I had to close it entirely. The application I have is called f.lux. I hope this helps you.

Yes, removing KB2919355 works! Finally!

I had to uninstall it twice (first time it was "uninstalled", I rebooted and it was still in the list of installed updates.)
Second time's the charm. Thanks.

I have uninstalled the KB2919355 update on win 8.1 and after that i couldn't get into windows anymore... It always displayed a message, something like: "rolling back the update, something went wrong". And after it's done, the computer reboots (it's an never ending cycle). I had to reinstall windows. :/
