I got a Logitech g100s recently and it's been great until this week.
Now once I enter a game in Broodwar it skips and lags uncontrollably (from the moment I enter the game lobby, regardless of the # of people in the game). I plugged in my old mouse after this issue arose and the cursor lagging/skipping was completely resolved.
So... I'm a bit dumbfounded how one mouse(g100s) could produce such an unplayable condition after working flawlessly for weeks and zero settings being changed. The g100s shows no signs of these problems outside of Broodwar, or even outside of games IN broodwar.
Anyone experience/heard of a mouse problem like this with the g100s or otherwise? Solutions?

My mouse broke and had to buy a new one, so I bought a cheap mouse. I do believe we have a similar problem.
Out of Brood War the new mouse works perfectly, but when I enter BW the framerate becomes uncontrollable. When I'm not moving my mouse, the framerate is normal, it's just when I move the cursor it lags a lot.
Also my mouse has an adjustable dpi feature, and I believe the Logitech g100s do also, so that might be the problem.
Please help us!

I don't think it has anything to do with the mouse...have you tried CPU throttling? Its in the BW settings.

Have you tried uninstall the logitech software (or installing it if you haven't yet). Or reinstall. I have the same problem but with different games back when I uaing mx518 and reinstalling setpoint fix it. Still don't know what went wrong, just suddenly went crap.

I already had CPU throttling on, changing it didn't do anything. Reinstalling my drivers didn't fix the problem either... It's weird because my laptop's trackpad and other mice seem to work fine, but when I move my new mouse, it lags. Please help...
