Max bitrate/buffer both at 1100 Quality balance = 5 Base Resolution= 1920x1080 Resolution Downscale= 2:1 (960x540) FPS=60 x264 CPU Preset= Fast You can see the quality (or lack thereof) that I get out of it here (can skip ahead to get to the gameplay and bigger fights): I'm a pretty ignorant about tech stuff. So, I'm sure I'm probably doing it wrong. This just seems to be the best balance that I can find given my specs and upload speeds. Hope it helps~ Edit: my speed test ![]() P.S. Gratz to Cyro for the blue text!! I'm pretty sure you didn't have that when I first posted in this thread and you were EXTREMELY helpful with fantastic advice <3

Gratz to Cyro for the blue text!! I'm pretty sure you didn't have that when I first posted in this thread and you were EXTREMELY helpful with fantastic advice <3 You will always want bitrate pretty much maxed out at this point, so ~1300-1400 video for first poster, 1100 for second, and 128k audio For basic settings just try 2:1, 1.5, 1:1 resolutions at 60fps, 60fps, 30fps 960x540, 60fps, fast 1280x720, 60fps, veryfast - might need to cut FPS just a little but probably not 1920x1080, 30fps, veryfast - might need to cut FPS a little, and some people dont like using higher resolutions with limited bitrate - it will look quite bad at times in some areas, but usually quite sharp, and the UI looks much much better in my opinion at such resolutions even with that limited bitrate I would also use Quality 10 unless there are noticably better results without it or there's more info on the OBS implementation of it that i can read somewhere, i just know that the xsplit implementation was a reverse slider of crf (35 on quality 0, 25 on quality 10) which i think wasnt sharp enough (needed to be moved 5crf lower) and often gave worse results than just setting to max IMO Thanks, just got it (: maybe a mod misclicked on my name though

I am using the game capture and my webcam as sources. Each work fine separately and technically even together but whenever I have they overlaying each other the game always lays on top. Even when I specifically set the webcam to "move to top" or "move up" the game will always remain on top. I tried with two separate games just to make sure. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

My PC: 8G RAM Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 INTEL CORE i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz My Internet: http://www.speedtest.net/result/2396991789.png If someone could give me some examples of what by "Bitrate" and "Buffer Size" should be on it would be awsome! Im currently using "5" on Quality and 2500/2500 on the others. Also Anything that could explain why one could get FPS drops ? Thanks !

It is expected for framerate to be consistently lower throughout the game with any form of streaming (from screen/game capturing, otherwise you dont have any information to stream)
