Try 640x360 25 fps 425 bitrate 96k audio bitrate mono I think my low fps problem while streaming is not because of my CPU, in fact I think this i5 is really good, since while I`m streaming the % usage of it is only 30-40%.. My main problem might be because of GPU... But mb u right since the normal game I get 180 fps (without streaming) and then when that happens it goes to 50 (Xsplit)... Is that because of my GPU, CPU or both? ps: With ffsplit it goes to 100, and with Dxtory 80. It`s not "that bad quality" since i managed to do with 480p quality resolution and steady 100 fps during the first minutes. Compared to last time where I tried with only Xsplit, this is way better. Now I just need to fix the bottom of the screen which is something I faced before but I dont remember how to fix it, although its only a matter of time till I figure it out (unless someone helps me here). And the freezing u see during the first seconds is because I pressed + and - so the replay could get faster. It`s normal (after this patch it started doing that, with or without streaming, but anyway thats not the case). I know this is not perfect but its watchable and playable.I have another Twitch account where at least 50 people were watching the live videos, so yea, people did watch with quality even worse than that. I dont think you know what you`re talking about at all. I just want to know if there`s something I can improve here, from someone who actually understands, since from my experience I have better FPS with FFSplit than Xsplit/gamesource and Xsplit/Dxtory. Even if there`s nothing to add, Im glad with the results so far.. At least for me who has bad internet and reasonable configs for notebook, can still stream with 360p-480p quality. the 1 minute experience - http://tinyurl.com/c7t35af (100 fps at start is ok for me, i tend to get 50-70 late game while streaming and its not that bad) Ty for this new software guys =), FFSplit is way better for me !

Unless you're the best player in the world, have an incredibly funny and likeable personality, you're not going to get any viewers in this market where most people will instantly leave at a bad quality stream.

Is there any particular reason for this? Would using DXtory as a source fix this? You might still be getting 60 fps but the actual time between frames is greater than 1 second. Ala time between frame 1 and 2 is 2 seconds and between 2 and 3 is .5 seconds.

I stream for some people only, What the hell is your problem? Im not asking for your bullshit opinion which is 100% wrong and does not fit what im asking for... im asking for advices from people who understands streaming, which is clearly not ur case. Either way im glad with my 480p quality and I stream for fun

Just saying there's really not any point in streaming if no one watches, unless you want to grow a fanbase which won't happen if you stream at such a shit quality, it's just basic streaming facts in such a saturated market. You don't even know what he's streaming or who he's streaming for...

LOL i`ll just ignore him, i dont have pacience with stupid people... i think he needs to get out of his bubble and understand that streaming does not go to one direction only.. "it`s just basic streaming facts" right? all i wanted was some settings i could test to see some improvement, even though im ok with what I got by using ffsplit

I've use two screens, and I use my second (so not my main) screen to play starcraft, but I can't figure out how to make the program stream my second screen instead of my main screen. Could you please help me? You can't, you can make it track the active window though.

I`ve done everything right in the tutorial and still drops. I also tried in a different computer and connection with 20 mb upload rate and nothing. I lowered everything etc but the internet doesn`t drop, neither ingame fps etc.. I don`t know if it is just me or.. either way it`s really frustrating to deal with. I might aswell just go back to Xsplit :/.

I don`t know if it is just me or.. either way it`s really frustrating to deal with. I might aswell just go back to Xsplit :/. I'm having this problem, as well. I have UAC off, connected to the lowest ping server, have my microphone source turned off, ran as an admin, have lowered my settings (despite being above and beyond the system/internet requirements) Whether I'm attempting 1080p at 7000 bitrate or 720p at 3500, both will be completely smooth and perfect for a period of time until it just stops working. I've used both default and pre-set encoders. I've set my audio devices to have exclusive control. It works perfectly, beyond my expectations even, but never for more than 10 minutes. I've followed all the directions, in all the guides written- I promise. My speedtest is 20mb and my debug console shows that I can comfortably upload at the speed I set it to (3500 or 7000.) However, it just stops working at random times and I have no idea why. Any outside-the-guide help would be appreciated, although I get the feeling there is a flaw in the program somewhere causing this. I am certainly not the only one experiencing these problems. Edit: PC/Internet specs in the spoiler tag. Also, I'm doing the FFsplit Overlay, not dxtory or anything. + Show Spoiler + Intel i7-2600 3.4ghz 8-core 16GB RAM Nvidia GTX 580 (playing at 1080p on highest settings for any game) ![]() Connected to the twitch server in a neighboring city, closest to me edit2: oh, the guide says to UNcheck the exclusive audio thing. welp lemme try that, i'll report back. edit3: welp, that might have been it. Will confirm in a while but it's been up longer than it's ever been, so we'll see. edit4: Been running a half hour now and it seems fine. Funny that mis-reading the guide is what screwed me. Everything seems to be in order, now.
