Hi so whats wrong is that i will stream in winddowed fullscreen mode and even though the game itself gets like 270 plus fps at the begining of the game on utra textures and low shaders it feels all laggy
I have changed graphics setting but am pretty sure its not due to that considering the game is 300 fps at start and never goes below 100
other info is windows 7, i7 sandy bridge 3.4 ghz and a radeon 6850 gpu 8gb ram so if anyone knows any way i can fix the choppyness that would be terrific also heres and example video i took this moring of a game so you can see the fps and lag http://www.twitch.tv/kamker/b/320673177
ps this is not me trying to get viewrs on my stream feel free not to watch the example video especially if you know what the problem is... game play starts at one minute and you can see me switch through differnt settings
ty in advanced for any help

your stream looks smooth compared to mine. what are your settings?
xsplit settings is 8 quality 720p 1700kbs upload and fast encoding... and thats another thing the stream looks pretty decent but the game is worse acctually playing it.
I have the same problem. I havve an i5-2500k. I get 60 FPS in D3 but super stuttery, whats the deal?
My CPU usage is low, like 25 percent when this is happening.
I have the same problem in D3 as Medrea with my 2500k and GTX560. Also, I get stutter at the beginning of SC2 games (although I think this is due to texture loading or something).
hhmm guys do you all play in windowd or windowed full screen mode? and whats your guys stream settings
Anything you want. Ive tried it all pretty much.
EDIT: If it helps, reducing framerate down 2 or 3 FPS makes my in game framerate even out a lot.
ya but its only at 25 fps in xsplit and 300 in sc2
Well I can get 100+ FPS in anything but the moment I stream everything I get huge stuttering. Sometimes even my FPS will read at a really high number as well but I am stuttery all over the place.
Whats even happening? I don't understand.
Ill check my CPU usage while streaming, and everything drops to values BELOW what i run the game at normally. Is this normal?
ITS WIERD CAUSE WHEN I STREAM FALLOUT 3 AND SOMETIMES WHEN I STREAM SC2 I GET NO STUTTER (sorry for caps) but usually it stutters and is choppy
What software do you use (edit: just checked the video, so XSplit it is)? If XSplit I'm pretty sure I can help you . If you change the stream FPS to 1, does the lag disappear? If so, then it's input lag. There are a couple of possible fixes already mentioned in the thread in my signature revolving around using a different capture method (such as GameSource) or changing the Aero mode to fit your current settings (turn it off for Screen Region).
yo i switched to a basic windows theme instead of aero and it appears to have worked thanks hellgreen and i recommend to the other people having problums to try it
The Xsplit option to disable Aero doesnt work?
Check to see if it stutters worse before you open a resplendent chest. I was having a similar issue and it turned out to be my hard drive. I ended up replacing it with an ssd and all stuttering is gone.
Why does your stream look incredible and mine look like shit? When i'm working with high settings and bitrate, surely that doesnt make any sense?
It stutters all the time.
EDIT: This happens regardless of in game settings. The only thing that affects the stuttering is framerate of the stream (gets pretty good at about 2 FPS) and my own resolution (800X600 runs pretty good).
Have anyone considered your internet speed? that can cause stuttering even though theres high framerate. Thats often the sinner
20 down/ 10 up. So thats a no go.
I stutter before I even start streaming. This is still at the preview screen.
So internet is irrelevant. Im not even there yet.
try vsync. I used to have the same issue but because of framerate instability. Sometimes I would be above 100 and then when I move the screen, it could drop to 60-70. Those drastic drops is whats making it look laggy.
