Hi,
I have a slight issue with my cursor in the menu of StarCraft. After i formatted my harddrive and reinstalled StarCraft II it has changed to a lighter color, which I personally don't like as much as the old one.
I have added two images to this post, the first being how it looks now, and the second how it used to look. I wish to revert to the old one, but I have no clue on how to do it. Does anyone have any fix for this?

Sorry, but are you trolling here? The mouse looks to be in the same exact position in both images. The top image is just enlarged.
Assuming the images aren't doctored, maybe try updating your video card driver.
EDIT: I took a look at the two images in Photoshop, it definitely looks like the resolutions are different for sure, sorry for the assumptions. I am no expert, but would think this definitely has something to do with your GPU drivers. Your SC2 is obviously in window mode, are the in-game resolutions the same as your desktop res?

It is in the same spot, but in the 2nd picture im holding my left button and moving the window around (in windowed mode). If I do that it goes back to how I want it (a darker vesion), but as soon as I let go it turns back to how it looks in the first picture (with lighter colors).
I have the latest drivers.
It might be a problem in windows, because my mouse outside games handles in a similar way. When I just idle the mouse it has greyish edges, but if I click and drag a window, it has a thicker black edge, quite the same as it does in StarCraft.
I still don't know how to fix it though. I've looked through both the settings in StarCraft, aswell as the settings in the mouse options in Windows. No luck yet.

Have you tried changing your mouse scheme in windows to see if that helps? Otherwise I would probably reinstall my GPU drivers or maybe even mouse drivers. Lastly, are you up to date on windows update?

Well, that's because I took the pictures with my camera, then just cut them out in paint, so the resolution of those images have nothing to do with it. I just wanted to show that the colors of the cursor had changed.
When I window StarCraft and move it around, the cursor is as it should be, but otherwise not. I have to click, hold and drag for the cursor to stay dark, otherwise it looks like it does on the first image.

Not to be a dick, but you're not honestly making a thread in order to try and change the shade of blue of your mouse cursor in a video game... Is it that much of an issue? Really?

^ angry man. Sounds like a legit issue to me. I wouldn't want my mouse cursor to change!

It's most likely your graphics card... mine changes from time to time because of that... are you using a Radeon card?

Thanks for your help. I thought I had the newest drivers, but turned out I didn't. Installed them and the problem is gone. I'm back to the old cursor, which actually fits in with the theme.
