It works, but.. it's not ideal. Anyone know if there's a way to put it back?
Cheers

Edit: This could be a good excuse for you to get a better keyboard since wireless and non-mechanical are pretty rough to play with (I just bought a mechanical keyboard and I can never see myself going back to normal rubber dome keyboards).

as for fixing the key, i would take a key you don't use much, such as numlock, and pop it off. put it where the j key is supposed to go. it might look stupid, but it's better than having to press the rubber dome thing(which you could press for numlock since it's hardly ever used most likely). if you do opt for another keyboard, get a Razer Blackwidow :D

It's like the people who say PS/2 is so much better than USB because there is roughly 0.000002 seconds less latency. Unless your match is extremely high level, and you're so damned even that it's like you're fighting a bot that just mimics everything you do, wireless non-mechanical keyboards and wired mechanical keyboards will result in the same playing experience.

It's an easy fix. There should be two components and they should currently be one in the other (Think lowercase o inside an uppercase O).. Lift the inner component up, and it should open up like an X. there should be a portion on the inner key that will latch onto the on the keyboard, all you gotta do is slip that portion under the latch on the keyboard and press down. ![]() for example, you see how it opens like an X, pull the innermost component downward, and it should open up like this, then then orient the key correctly and find where one side of the scissor switch latches onto the keyboard ( looks like this ㅋon the keyboard). Swoop the key sideways to latch onto the keyboard component and when you feel a tug, force the key downwards. I've fixed a few of these on my laptops over time. (actually one yesterday when I accidentally took off the esc key of a laptop I was taking apart to reset cmos).

Thats too bad, i've never had one break with the laptops i've owned. But all of my logitech products have broken in some form or another so it does not surprise me. You can probably find another switch mechanism online though. I'm sure if you called logitech enough times they would send it haha. Logitech has great customer support, with my experience you can basically send them a cord and they will replace your product.

Thats not why yhou get a Mech keyboard its for the feal of it and it does effect typing and playing, don't say stuff you don't know. its all personal preference, no reason to get all uppity about your mechanical keyboard preference. As for me I like Mechanical Keyboards for typing but I have come so accustomed to my laptop that playing games on a mechanical Keyboard feels tedious and harder than it should be, to play on while typing feels natural and comfortable. and again most bw players use a generic QSENN DT-35 which is a generic cheap membrane keyboard, so no use in telling people to not "say stuff you don't know" when its opinion. as for the OP I feel your pain this ] <---- is just a plain dome membrane for me and it drives me crazy hahaha I know you can buy replacement keys for your keyboard if you look around but as for me the key is hardly used other than to make cutesy faces ;] either that or Id try to call logitech like someone else suggested and even if they don't just send you a replacement key you may be able to actually buy one through them. gl with your endeavors :3 if nothing more get creative its not like you can hurt it anymore than you already have ![]() Also I hope you learned your lesson RAGING IS EXPENSIVE

Anyhoo.. Status update: I tried to put the X thingie in first and then snapping on the J Key. The result is that I now have no X thingie. I'll call support tomorrow. I have this Logitech mouse which I have raged on for years, just open it up and use a screw driver and any problem should be fixx'd, screw drivers apparently does not work on keyboards. Little did I know.. Sad Panda y man, its expensive as hell.. I could tell you the story about the HDD that wouldn't come loose.. but that's kinda off topic. Cheers!
