Please see latest post. I got a question in there.
I've looked through a couple mouse threads, including the opening and last pages of the Ultimate Mouse Thread, but that thread is a bit outdated so I was wondering what mouse I should buy for ~$50 CAD. I will be purchasing from NCIX, Canada Computers, or Newegg.ca. It all depends on what mouse I find and is recommended here. Of course, the cheaper it is, the better.
I'm currently using a Logitech MX610 and like how it feels very much. However it's starting to die I think. I'm considering the following:
Cooler Master Storm Sentinel Advance Mouse
Razer DeathAdder
Razer Lachesis
Heard there's a bit of problem with the Cooler Master Storm Sentinel but the latest and soon to be released firmware will solve these problems. There is also a new Cooler Master Storm mouse to be released soon. Reviewers around the world already have them. As far as Razer products go, I know they're promoted as gaming mouses and are fairly popular with gamers, but I just find them to be overpriced. Same goes for Steelseries. In the end, the Cooler Master wins with it's cheap price and excellent specifications, but I'm going to keep my mind open and see what Team Liquid forum members think.
Edit: Btw I use a palm grip.

Selective reading ftw! Mod should edit title.

Logitech MX 518 is IMO the best mouse for an SC2 player, switched from Razer and definitely not going back.

Razer Deathadder is what I would recommend. I've used it and its very good.

Steelseries anything is the best. Have used tons of gaming products from all different companies and this year got a Steelseries Xai and will never look back. Great product and you can tell as soon as you put it in your hand.

I have MX518 and Deathadder. Currently using MX518 on my sc2 computer.
Deathadder is a good and more precise mouse, however, clicking speed is A LOT slower and it is such a robust and big mouse that i was having a fatigue problems.

lol,for a second there i thought you were looking for a mouse for the "AutoCAD" software hehe

I have the CM Storm Sentinel Advance mouse that you mentioned. Love it, I came from a Logitech MX518 and they feel similar in the hand. Great mouse.

I see a lot of recommendation for MX518. Isn't the MX518 old now? Especially since it's still using optical technology.
I see a lot of recommendations for the Deathadder. However, as I asked in the OP, aren't they pretty expensive for the technical specifications? It's like they're selling the brand instead.... Or is Cooler Master just plain cheap?

I own the CM Storm Sentinel Advance mouse personally, and I really haven't encountered any problems at all. The shape and size is perfect other than that, the drivers are awesome aswell. It's the best mouse I've ever had by far.

For one the xai is over $80. Well past his budget. Secondly, the Xai has mouse prediction and acceleration that cannot be disabled and is hardware related (from the sensor, although minor). I personally have both the Xai and the Deathadder, and would recommend the Xai for the average person. But for someone who is even midly uneasy by prediction and acceleration the Deathadder is the clear choice. DA has the better sensor, is hand fitting based on model if you are left or right handed, but does not have as many features (which is good imo). It does it's job, and it does not need pro-gamer profiles to sell. I personally dislike ambidextrous mice, the xai's not bad dont get me wrong but I feel after using both for over a year the DA is the better mouse imho.

I've had a DeathAdder for 2 years now and I still LOVE it! So comfortable.
Don't go with the Lachesis. My brother has one and it feels really weird since it's for a right and lefty.
