[Q] How to delay a stream [Ustream]

berzerger Turkey95 Posts September 08 2010 22:00 GMT #1 Hello, I was wondering if a streamer can delay his stream for big tournaments. So he can prevent competitors to get help from that stream by joining and listening to it. I know livestream sometimes gets delayed even if you don't want to. So if anyone knows how to delay it on Ustream.tv please help me. Thank you.

But players are being stupid asking for delay so his opponent won't get help from stream. and I guess there is no way in between casting live or replay as I get from your answer. note: and I am not the organizer if I was I would empose direct live casting

semantics 10040 Posts September 08 2010 22:43 GMT #5 Also making a small delay isn't going to stop a cheater from gaining valuable info like a drop is happening soon or a tech switch which they will still hear just slightly delayed. And if you're going to delay it like 5 mins why not just delay it the 12 15 mins and wait for the replay.
