I have a filco majestouch with browns waiting for me at home when I get off work. 1 day shipping through amazon = win.
I can't wait!!!! Birthdays are awesome.
I tried a 7g and razer blackwidow (so blacks/blues) before making up my mind. I haven't personally tried browns but everything i read is it's some where in between so it sounds perfect.
home: unpacked - tested - I'm in love!!! One of if not the best peripheral computer purchase i've ever made! the sound and feel is amazing.

has anyone experience anything from XArmor U9? I am looking at it and was wondering if anyone has any news about it.

i own a 7G with blacks, anf i feel like the no tactile feedback makes me easily make typos or accidentaly pressing the key next to it by just slighty touching it wich is really annoying me. i want a zowie/filco

Hey there, don't wanna push up old threads and don't wanna open a new mechanical keyboard-thread, but I HAVE to ask this:
what is the cheapest mechanical keyboard on the market? and in specific which one is the cheapest in germany with german keycaps??? I'm thinking of the ss g6v2 but if there is a cheaper version of mechanical keyboard, I would be very happy, because I have no money ^^ please help.
thanks!

I purchased this keyboard a few days ago because of the low price point and I'm hoping it can live up to be a good bang-for-the-buck model. From the looks of it, it looks to be the same as the XArmor U9BL-S (~$140) except without the USB/audio ports and backlighting, which is all pretty useless to me. There are some reviews of the U9BL-S on youtube right now.
Once I get the U9 I'll play around with it for a few days and post a review in comparison to my Filco Majestouch Cherry Brown.

is it good for sc2?? does anyone play on it? (g80-3000) which switches should I use? think browns,.. hm?

What I'm really wondering is where could I find a brick-and-mortar store that has mechanical keyboards on display? I'm really not sure if I want a tactile bump or not (Black or Brown) and I feel like the only good way to find out is to bang on a keyboard for a minute or so.
I've ruled out blue, clicky is bad. D:
