Well, we know from SC1 how to fix that, rigth? Simply remove the beam. It's a thermal lance either way, heat isn't visible to the human eye. Just like the corsair you only need an attack animation and an impact animation. Just let the Collosus ligth up both it's thermal lances when firing and have a pillar of flame erupt on the ground where it's targeting and sweep back and forth over the units exactly like the lance did in the first videos. | ||

dont worry about the lack of projectile graphic and death animation, im sure that will be added in by the time the game is released. it's obvious they simply havent added these in yet. they dont even have attack sounds yet.. and what you think after all they've shown us with death animations that they'd just not include one for hydras? -_- | ||

What happened to the unit graphics- what happened??? Looks like a basketball with a mouth and a disease. It should be based on something sneaky, painful, and much harsher (like a scorpion in the case of the Defiler). Needs to be completely redone, IMO, to be made thinner and cooler. Look at the _bottom_ unit in this picture. I'm fairly sure that is the Infestor, which looks even worse up close: http://www.sc2pod.com/gallery/screenshots/?id=247 The rolly polly purple guys in this pict is a gameshot of the unit as I understand it: http://www.sc2armory.com/images/misc/zerg/ss7.jpg Now most of the buildings and many other units look great. The flying squiddies (Corruptors) look incredible! Ultras and Hydras look quite good in action. Mutas and zerglings and banelings have been looking good to me since we first saw them. The Queen is a big improvement, but being so large and a semi-super-unit makes me worried. Even the overlord looks cool. So who dropped the ball on the Infestor???!! Coz i was hoping they'd have some run-through of all the knew units in a sort of narrated gameplay video like the previous Protoss\Terran gameplay videos... and im not referring to that Zerg introduction video where they have quick flashes of battle. But i guess its stupid to ask coz no one prob knows, and it'll all be uploaded soon :D | ||

However some things I don't really like. First off I really don't like the Infester, what is it supposed to be 0_o. Zerg units are supposed to look disgustingly cool but this one just looks disgusting ;_; The corruptor.... I guess I could live with it but it sure does look weird 0_o Is it a flying brain? But holy crap the one thing I really don't like is the sound marines make when they die and the sound of medics healing ;_____; As a future sc2 terran user I sure hope they change this Other than those things I think its going great right now. I imagined the zerg would be extremely hard to make and they somehow did it ^^; I have to say one of my favorite new units is the baneling which has really grown on me =] | ||
