Well that’s a hot take.
According to some even stuff like the WoL campaign is broken. I don’t expect patches to be flawless or completely bug free but the one thing I absolutely don’t expect is for them to break functionality of everything that previously worked fine.
Which wouldn’t be nearly as much of an issue if it was easier to revert to old builds, but of course that isn’t the modern way either.

It's not fixed. As of 4pm 9 times out of 10 in a co-op game it will drop one or both players instantly, 1v1 is disabled and it's impossible to play anything with more than two people.

I feel for all the tournaments going on right now like Wardii's Team League. Hope at least custom games with custom map works, so they can play on the HSC XX maps or sth.

edit: If every client does the workaround language thing and joins a custom game, it might work.

Not sure if sarcasm but if they're not ready to fix or revert a gamebreaking patch for a whole day they shouldn't push it live at all. This has never happened before for good reason.

They shouldn't push a patch that's not properly tested and which they cannot revert on time. Blizzard is a global company and ANY of their branches should be able to revert a patch and prepare an emergency patch which fixes a bug that's making the game unplayable. If they cannot right away fix it. Excusing this by time zones is not acceptable. Does this mean they're in so bad shape they don't have people who can do a basic revert?

I confirm, we're going through WoL campaign with my son and half of the missions are literally impossible to beat due to ramp issues. We used reapers as a workaround, but well...

That's fair enough when we're talking about 2 hours but the game being completely unplayable for >24 hours is absurd and unacceptable.

It’s incredibly frustrating when you have a really light week and your main aspiration is to get back actively playing the game.
Ladder breaking is bad enough, but the campaigns being unplayable according to some accounts is just inexcusable as I’ve paid for those.

Wow one full day now of unplayable ranked play (literally). And on a new season with huge changes none the less, meaning higher active players than usual, gold opportunity to sell coop commander and skins. Many ppl baught new commander and cant even play. If this was WoW, HS, any other blizzard game, or any AAA game with some sort of self respect, there would be multiple updates about the issue and it would be resolved much faster...
Just check blizzard CS twitter, its actually sad. A small delay on a weekly planned maintenance for WoW classic has multiple posts and updates(like prob one hour late?). But SC2 new season, new commander, new balance changes completely unplayable for 24 hours. Dead silent, no update, no fuck given. Same on starcraft twitter. Cant find any update on it. Some basement dev found the cause in about 2 hours and its beeing discussed by players, but no word from blizzard. They release a huge patch with new MTX, and on the same day they dont leave a dev on call with possible backup in case of major issue with update?
What a joke...

Works for many people but if anybody in the game (even an opponent or observer) has a broken game client then it will start to indiscriminately kick people out. This makes anything aside from organized premade gameplay impossible as an enormous fraction of players on EU are queuing with broken clients.

Sorry but what do you mean by broken game client? Just curious. That means if we all fix it, disc bug will be gone?

If the problem is as simple as engine code handling certain system language settings perfectly but breaking when others are set, yes. It's not practical to make everybody in the world set their OS language settings a certain way though, anybody can not do it and break the game for everybody that they queue into.

I didn't run into this issue but I (or more, my opponent) ran into a bug on Zen where they couldn't build their command center at their natural expansion in the correct spot. It had to be a square further away than normal. They were on the southwest spawn and I was at the northeast. My nexus built fine in the right spot though so it might have just been them.
Other than that though, I haven't had any issues. I played a dozen or so games last night and they were mostly fine other than it being day 1 of the ladder season so most of the games were typical bad day 1 games with people cheesing to try to get promoted. I played 6 PvPs in a row and all were proxies. It was pretty funny.
