I played 6 PvPs in a row and all were proxies. It was pretty funny. You're playing on NA, so maybe the issues are nowhere near as bad over there. I queued 30 times on EU, all but two of them immediately dropped players and ended in seconds. They put some mineral patches and geysers in the wrong place when making the ladder version of maps somehow, that's dumb for sure but it hardly matters until you can actually load a map without getting kicked out | ||

Blizz simultaneously fucked both broodwar and sc2 within about a week of each other. New broodwar patch dropped along with a new season, lots of people couldn't play and the game would open about 20 random processes and eat up all CPU. Others that could get in said the game felt sluggish and wasn't running well regardless. Then they released a hotfix and as of yesterday lots of people couldn't log into battle net because it said they needed to update even though they were running the latest update. I'm not particularly angry but what the fuck is going on over there lol. All QA testers must have been on vacation so they just said fuck it it worked that one time we tested it five days ago so send it out. Blizz just aint the same. | ||

It does not take a long time from looking at this twitter that they just dont care about SC2 players. We are nothing to them. If this was any other game, this would be resolved, or patch would be reverted until its ready and stable. Or at the very least, we would get an update every couple hours. | ||

If the new patch breaks everything else, just revert to the previous functional patch. If that’s for some reason not feasible at least communicate with the community as to what’s going on. I understand sometimes weird bugs happen or whatever that are unexpected but it’s the combination of either not reverting to the previous stable build, or alternatively communicating why that isn’t viable that is really frustrating. | ||

Other than the odd game on the Brazil server, pretty much everyone else speaks English in game on NA so it makes sense that those of us on NA would have a substantially smaller chance of hitting this bug since many folks would have their OS set to English. Obviously there will be people that don't have their OS set to English, but that's likely to be a substantially smaller percentage of people in NA compared to EU. | ||
