Some of the funniest, most hilarious and entertaining times in SC2 were watching Destiny stream, getting stream sniped by CombatEX and Deezer, and all of them playing each other, cursing each other off for hours on stream and SotG, great times...the peak of SC2 imo.

CombatEX and Deezer, those are names I haven't heard in a long time...

Can't say I miss them but I do kind of miss that era of SC2 minus their entertaining toxic madness.

Destiny's streams are soooooo boring nowadays. I don't understand why he always has relatively many viewers. Most of the time he's just sitting there, doing nothing or playing some completely boring games.

With CatZ and Incontrol in there also you got something cooking.

Different strokes for different folks I guess.

He's networked a bunch and has just kept doing stuff for a loooong time so the viewers are there ...unless he plays LoL

Destiny was a good lad, bit spiky at times and opinionated but I quite liked the guy, kind of like how I have a big soft spot for Idra.

Guys like Combat or Deezer, or a certain recently banned from Twitch individual are just hugely toxic and behave like (are?) assholes who just make the scene look bad and aren't particularly entertaining

People have rose tinted glasses about Destiny. He was extremely toxic, and is even worse now. Now all he does is get into political debates with less-informed people on twitch and take devils advocate approaches on topics like rape and sexism/racism.
I used to play random, but for you I play very specifically.

incontrol certainly pushes buttons, but i do not think he's an "asshole." in fact he seems like a very nice person who happens to have a pessimistic sense of humor and sometimes gets easily frustrated. to each their own interpretation though.

I see both of them the same with slight differences. Maybe Destiny changed in the years he wasn't involved in SC2 anymore(the last project was The Late Game with Lycan I believe, that's what, 2 or 3 years back?). But back then I liked him more than Goeff

I find them to be more engaging than ever, but that's because I enjoy watching streams with gaming, viewer/ subscriber involvement, and debates about pretty much everything. I only wish he still played SC2 while doing all that.

CombatEX and Deezer were two of the most cringeworthy players of all time, but sometimes it's entertaining to watch a hacking, cheating, ragequitting trainwreck.

I loved watching Destiny streams back in the day. I had so much fun watching him dealing with Deezer and Combat-ex. Debo and Kyle where really fun too. I'm not into how crazy he is now but back in the day he was so fun to watch. Screw you're rose-tinted goggles I loved watching him then. But now, of course, I don't watch because of crazy political stuff.

The drama of this era was pretty funny, it was basically the far west of streaming back then.

I enjoyed such idiots being made to look silly time and time again, that was fun. There’s a series of stream snipes where Idra kept beating Combat and that was entertaining as duck, and Idra’s counter BM was pretty funny. Or him being made to look like an idiot any time people had sustained contact with him

I don’t even mind people being a bit BM but have some wit to it and don’t be a prick in other ways

Just throwing out the same stupid insults over and over again, being a belligerent asshole, no the scene is very much the better for that not being a bit part of it.

LOL good riddance, i hated playing combatEX.
you could never win against him even if you won.

when i think of it it reminds me of a different flavour of avilo.

No i don't. They were toxic, stream cheaters, i even think Deezer was maphacking at some point (not sure).
Destiny was kind of different but his views on some topics were like... WTF is this guy allowed to talk.
Avilo should be up there too (in the list of guys we remember as being douchy and we could make fun off).

At least for borderline, stupid, completly over the top 2GD was fun (especially with InControl) but he was... well... completly borderline most of the time.

At least Geoff seems like a nice guy. I don't really like him because i don't like his humour and i think it makes him look like an asshole but that's apple and oranges. I don't think InControl is a bad guy though

I don't miss the early day/peek of sc2 streaming at all.
I see how it could be entertaning for many but it wasn't for me, it was pretty much reality TV "look at these idiot" and that's never been a thing I was a fan of. Plus some of those guys, or more recently talking about Avilo seemed just straight up questionnable human being. (Don't know there life of course)

Incontrol has grown a lot of me in the last few years, but I think he has become a lot less toxic, and he doesn't seems out there to just make other people life miserable.

Avilo crosses the toxic into the straight tragic, I'm not gonna say he was a great guy online, but his time in the SC2 community seems to have wreck his life, can't say I never played a part in it.

I do miss them. I don't care if they were "toxic" or "salty", it made the streaming scene more diverse back then.
Destiny at a time was pretty decent as well in the early days of BL infestors. He practiced very hard and I still remember he had a very fun game against Huk
