I call dibs on the first SC2 whine thread (NOTE: THIS THREAD IS HUGE FLAMEBAIT =[):
What happened to being more creative? How many games have you seen with the name Firebat? On the other hand, how many games have names like: Pheonix, Colossus, Stalker, Reaper?
Additionally, what about all those ridiculous systems they are introducing? They better be geniuses at integrating them properly because at this point those systems seem very gimmicky. For example - the Protoss movement/shield systems and overall terrain systems - will they be central considerations, or eventually be implemented as a tack-on semi-useless manner?
EDIT:
What about the ridiculous Protoss "unique" abilities on the air units like the mass projectile strike and continuous laser? What do they add? What's the significance of these gimmicks?
red.venom said in one of the other threads that everything seemed really similar to something in DoW - I think that's what I was trying to communicate as well.
More mega units! =[ - Mothership - wtf is this constraint of 1 thing. What a fucking lame implementation =[.
ENDEDIT
As it stands, this game looks more similar to CC3 and modern RTS than anything truly innovative.

To be honest, I think it's pretty legitimate to worry that they won't have the magic that made the original SCBW. We've been worrying about this for years as the community. The fact that modern RTS has been trash and the guy working on it comes from a C&C background doesn't help.

when marquis wins the lottery he immediately starts complaining about having to carry the money back home

PLANET CRACKER LASER?
That sounds so gay. They need to re-think a lot of these unit names and call them something awesome, like for bc, Yamato laser? THAT SOUNDS AWESOME?
Mothership....
Wtf is that? Call it something like "Protoss Xeec" and "Protoss Zevix", something exotic and has some sort of greek origin. "Mothership", COME ON! I HOPE THE NAMES ARE IN BETA-STAGE TOO!

yes, i liked how many of the scbw names had references to mythology etc. i hope sc2 does the same :\

Few of the people who made the original SC so great even work at Blizzard anymore.
This is SC2 in name only if it's not made by the original team, IMO.

Remember: The unit known as the Wraith was also once called the Phoenix.
Give it time. Things will get better.

Its important that we complain. Blizz should be looking through forums to see the public response. If we complain about things, theres a chance it will be heard

Not worrying ~_~ http://au.pc.ign.com/articles/790/790158p1.html Only worrying about the lack of a limitation on how many units you can select at once
Oh and slightly worried about the zealot charge ability possibly making the units auto-surround, although I guess it could just be them not standing in eachothers way ;p

just take a look at the starcraft beta screenshots...
realize?
dont worry

Remember when the Zerg were called the Nightmarish Invaders in SC Alpha? Yeah, don't worry.

SC1 also had battle cruiser, observer, lurker...well, gee, those are certainly clever. SC2 can get away with these generic names just because of "bangaling."
