Regardless of the situation, we will still action upon "dead game" comments. As this is a sensitive issue for SC2 fans, please do not come into this thread and talk about SC2 players switching over to BW. This thread is also not about bashing Blizzard, David Kim, or the WCS system. |

User was warned for this post what the fuck is wrong with the dude being genuinely happy about his beloved game? Say two football team play in a super big final - the winners are not allowed to be happy? Because the other team lost and the fans will get further upset? Political correctness til the end!

You'd have to be delusional to not see this coming. The foundations Browder and Kim placed were not meant to be the pillars of a long lasting esport. If it wasn't for the passionate and loving community the game would have vanished long ago.
This is the beginning of the end that so many have been warning since 2010.

Well, there goes the last avenue of SC2 I was interested in watching Thanks for the memories.

I'll wait to see what happens. GSL was confirmed as continuing so there's that but if WCS doesn't change next year that might be the only thing I watch
Although to be honest right now I don't really care....that might be the saddest thing of all for me out of all this, we're less than 2 weeks away from the start of the Global Finals and I just don't care, my passion is dead right now. Maybe it will change once the matches start. I hope it does

Yeah he says it's "nice" but surely he means it's nice to have so many players with a BW background back.

This is truly heartbreaking.
I'm just happy Jin Air will support their players despite this horrible news.

A disaster, a giant, massive disaster. I have no words.

Yeah he says it's "nice" but surely he means it's nice to have so many players with a BW background back. It's still inappropriate. Imagine if somebody dies and it's their will that a large sum of their money is donated to a charity organization. Now imagine a representative of said organization doing a dance of joy after hearing the person who just recently passed away wants to donate that much money. In front of the person's grieving family.
Asking to get punched in the face.

But there was the big reshape of the team around the time they entered PL, no? The current MVP doesn't share too much beyond name with the eSF-era MVP anyway.

My heart is filled with a strange mix of sadness for the situation and bitterness at the thought that, through smarter choices, all this could have been avoided...
