That downward trend in avg concurrent viewers per month is not that bad as it looks. Even if we had two events with 80k concurrent viewers in a month, but no player streams, the avg in a month would be 5.3k, less than we had last month (if I'm not completely misread the chart). Still, the number of events with above 15k concurrent viewers is declining too, and that is alarming for sure. However, using my previous example, the number then would just be 2, but no one would be concerned about the viewership.

I admit that the situation is different in China compared to western countries and South Korea(where they have more advanced esport industry). But I am not opposed to Chinese players streaming, and I think that many of the foreigners(in Chinese perspective) should try watch their stream too, if they are as good as the streamers above. So my point is, giving (Chinese) players worse treatment will not push them to make progress, let them stream because that's a normal thing.

Do you mean I should be including streamers on Douyu, etc as well? I decided not to as the numbers these services show are widely reported to be inaccurate (e.g. inflated).

No, I know douyu exaggerates their numbers(in a ridiculous way, once the viewer is even more than the population in China). I just think that your number can support what I think, if you don't mind, I will make a translation post on Chinese forum that I admin, and I will give reference link and credit to you.

Only TL seemed to punish him seemingly without hard evidence. Either way, he is very entertaining and makes the game relaxing.

I wish Blizz would invest more into SC2s development. The ladder revamp takes too long, is too little too late. Seperate MMR per race is asked by the community for a long time and it is still not in the game. The long term fun is not there for the most players and Blizz is not adressing this issue. The Coop missions are a good addition, but are only good for some time because you max your levels quite fast.

Sometimes it's a player stream but most of the time it's events or rebroadcast of events, with still around 200 viewers for the latter. We're live on twitch 160ish hours out of 168 possible every week

Yay. btw he was also cleared by the TL staff a few months ago.
