here have been some small changes in the ranks of the organization Cascade1xBet. Several days ago, three players left the team, who until this time had defended our team colors. We're talking about Dimitry "Dimaga" Filipuchuk, who has now been inactive in SC2: Heart of the Swarm for a long time, choosing instead to concentrate on other activities.
Two other players, Emil "Sukki" Schaffner and Aviv "Bulugulu" Sheriff represented Academy division, but after they stopped actively training and playing for Academy, the decision was taken to part ways with them.
To all aforementioned players we wish luck in the future, and growth to their careers.
Complete translation from some Russian/Ukrainian would be nice.
In the ranks of the organization Cascade1xBet Some minor changes in personnel. The other day the team left three performers who up to this point defended the colors of our team. We are talking about Dmitry «DIMAGA» Filipchuk, who for a long time is not actively involved in the games StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm, focusing their attention on other discipline. Two other artists, such as: Emil «Sukki» Schaffner and Aviv "Bulugulu" Sheriff advocated the Academy, but after no longer actively train and play matches at the Academy, it was decided to part with them. All of the above players, we wish you every success in the future and career growth.
Google translate isn't too bad. At least it's understandable nowadays. I like how the players are translated as artists. :D
StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm,

I still remember the huge Dimaga baneling busts, and how Dimaga made it to the finals of a Dreamhack until finally Mana figured out that Archons are a good counter to banelings.
Well it was just a matter of time until Dimaga released his retierment. I mean he plays a lot of Heroes of the Storm these days? (I think so just heared about that)

I also heard that he's trying to get into Heroes of the Storm. He decide to return for Legacy of the Void, depending on how everything inside and outside of the game looks.
Putting other players like Haypro or Kawaiirice in perspective I think it's a little petty to post something like this here.
I don't disagree that you're more than allowed to harbor ill will towards cheating though.
Do you think I respect Haypro?
Do you think I respect KawaiiRice?
Do you think I respect TT1?
No I don't actually and it's pretty clear you will never see them as anything but scum.
I guess what I was trying to imply is that these guys have had clean careers for themselves in a new game for 4-5 years now. More than that SC2 fans know them as nice people.
My impression is that they're no longer cheaters; their actions reflect that. But clearly you can never forgive.
And that's fine. I don't think you respect anyone I just think it's petty to go out of your way to post in someone's retirement thread 6 years later.

Well, it's about the most egregious thing you can do as a progamer, and very few prominent players have been caught. When almost everybody is clean, something like this is going to become a big part of your legacy. Believe me, I don't go out of my way to criticize players, I'm mostly in LR threads cheering somebody on or trying to draw attention to underappreciated players.
I still don't get the "petty" part. This isn't Dimaga's blog, it's a news post (though Dimaga did leave a post in the thread).

If that's what having a problem with cheaters is, then call me Mr. Bitter.
I'm pretty sure you're not actually from Angola, and I'll say to you this, sir, it will NOT be forgotten! Not after a 1000 year war with an alien race of blue men singing "I'm blue da-buh-di-da-buh-die" pushing us to the brink of extinction, not as we make our final stand fighting side by side, and not as I lay dying in your arms when you say "we got em" and cornily cradle my head in your arms, tears flowing down from your cheeks onto the dry desolation that is our earth, not as the lights in my eyes start to shimmer and fade and I pull myself up towards your ear with my last strength and my voice is heard in this world for the last time: "n..nn.. n NOT Angolian" and I empty my bowels in your lap. *scene*

God I hope this is the case. Temporary or not though, this is a big loss for Starcraft and eSports.

I can never trust a player who once cheated, it's such a dishonest and selfish thing to do. I definitely don't find it petty.
Why do prison exist? Why do bans exist? To teach people lessons. Bringing up history from 4+ years ago is slanderous and deserves a ban imo.
You have to be kidding me. If people can't bring up cheating on an esports forum when discussing a player's legacy (certainly on topic for this thread), you might as well burn the whole thing to the ground. There are plenty of baseball players who've been caught cheating too who don't get to live it down. That's what happens when you are a competitor. All of this coddling is absurd.
Besides, that's a gross oversimplification of why prisons exist. And, a misuse of the word slander (you have to *lie* or make an unsubstantiated claim to slander somebody).
Good luck, have fun and thanks for the fish Dimaga! Last chance to use this pic I suppose, although people have a tendency not to stay retired for very long around here.
Dimaga was the reason I picked Zerg back in the day. I thought his mass queen play was hell of cool, back when they had no range. This bums me out, hopefully he will be back for lotv.
even thou i am not into sc2 anymore its still sad, had some fun games with him in ladder and he was always nice and didnt bm, gl with whatever he does i guess ~
when i started getting into the sc2 scene in july of 2010, DIMAGA quickly became one of my favorite players to watch. He had some decent success in his career but this doesn't surprise me a lot as he's been relatively absent for a long time. Sad to see him go but it was always fun with him. GL DIMAGA! thank you
I usually don'y care so much when players retire but this is something special... I have always liked Dimaga and his stubborness to continue playing. He was here when Sc2 was new and will always be remembered. I hope he stays in the game even though he's not proplayer anymore.

Nice drawings! You should post these in the original thread too!
