This is retarded, I'd be ashamed to show such a thing and to have progamers actually play such shit. Even a toddler could tell you why this unit is broken in its current state (broken in every sense, plain interesting and imbalanced).

I kinda agree, though you can't deny they're trying to make BCs/carriers/nydus/corruptors more interesting (in good or retarded ways, time will tell) and seem to have addressed the SH problem. Otherwise yeah, most of the units introduced don't seem to fulfill any needed role.

I can't say this is positive advertisement. The point is they haven't actually changed anything to address real issues. They changed things for the sake of changing them and people see shiny things and are excited Yeh, that's my impression of 80% of the changes as well. It's just to make the community happy, while it tbh looks like they barely spent time on making the game more fun to play.

These changes aren't the great big awesome resuce that will make everrything awesome and they will not kill the RTS genre either. Just chill the fuck out and wait. (This part is not directed to you, Wire, just saying that to that thread in general).

It looks stupid after watching the final showmatch but Blizzard better not make the same mistake they did with the Warhound: removing it instead of redesigning or balancing it. Just make it a generic vehicle that shoots air without lock on. Just make it a reliable Mech anti-air cause thats what Terran lacks with Mech. An Anti- Air Unit that shoots fast and is mobile. Hell even if they remove it bring back the Warhound that shoots Air without that Anti Mechanical crap.

Honestly I can't help thinking they rushed the presentation because they needed to give the community a bone to chew on. But I fear this will have the opposite effect to what is researched. I won't say I fear the expansion, Blizzard know how to make a solid game and LotV won't look like that, but what would I think if I was say a LoL fan passing by and catching those games ? I'm pretty sure I'd laugh, say "wow, SC2 players even more retarded than I thought" and never return again.

Both WOL and HOTS wasn't that terrible afterall, but alot of the stuff the they have in the game here looks like something they first put in early friday 1 hour before blizzcon started becasue they had been busy working on Heroes of the Storm.

And the twitch chat is known to be the place where the most reasonable and clever people gather. This is alpha, in a few showmatches, 24 hours after the initial announcement. If it's still the same when the beta starts, sure, whine about it. Right now it's just stupid (both the cyclone and the whining).

Neither were BW either though. At least the campaign should be fun.

It's like going to your boss with a shit presentation and then asking him to trust your project.

Blizzcon function as advertisement for new products, and if you give the audience the impression that your product is bad, then it's not optimal at all.

Thats a great point, though I think not showing LotV multiplayer at all would've been even worse.
