And we all know what this means: They can be scrapped just each day without a notice by bliz. Hey, now we know that will 100% happen to Nydus, Banshee's cloak and some other stuff. And maybe can happen to BCs (remember the story of medivacs upgrades in HotS beta?)

Simply dead, I heard they even cancelled WCS due to LotV. Literally ded. No but seriously people need to realize that those are ideas, plans at best. They can be adjusted and scrapped completely each day. So yeah you're right, just think about Warhound. It turned out awful and they got rid of it.

The BC looks incredible now and really feels like it's meant to. Probably great in base trades and now going to be a staple in the late game mech army. So much micro capability now. Protoss: Warp prism looks cool but unnecessary if you can micro well. Oracle's new ability could be good if you can choose to manually trigger, otherwise looks like you'll only hit 1-2 units with it. Carrier change is interesting but unclear what exactly it means and what the micro limitations are. The rest looks like some pretty brutal and unnecessary nerfs. Zerg: Corruptor looks terrifying. Mass corruptor is already great vs air and gives literally no fucks about ground units, now it's basically WoL Void Rays on Crack. Infestor's new ability is cool. Swarm host is still good defensively because you now need to back up when locusts spawn, you can't fight. They'll probably get more kills each wave now but it might change the unit role a bit. Nydus worm is stupid as fuck in PvZ and I can't see it getting past beta. Unless you open gateway first, you basically will auto-lose every game to nydus rushes. Protoss basically patched out of the game, terran will probably dominate the beta as usual, especially with a heavily buffed mech. I expect lots of changes to this by the end of beta. Don't think any of the new units will need to disappear completely though. I think we shouldn't think too much about how practical/realistic those changes are, because many aren't at all and will disappear. They're still in the "let's make everything imba so that every player wants to buy the game", but we all know it doesn't happen.

"Medivac - now can't take damage until it gets to your opponent's base." or "Warp prism - doesn't take damage until you start warping in units." This nydus change is ridiculous, anti-fun and anti-skill.

Adding abilities to units or target zones to avoid like with the ravager doesn't necessarily give an unit a lot of micro potential.

For Terran I just LOVE the merc, warping BCs and all the other changes. Only thing I am not sure about is the car firing while it moves, seems kinda uninteresting imo. Zergs got some love, love the swarm hosts change (not sure about the flying though :D), infestors = awesome, unit designed to kill immortal sentry push lol. Lurkers yay. Corruptors change will not stay there in the same form as it is now. Maybe lower damage, more probably not able to target buildings or something. For Protoss I just love everything, the new unit seems cool, changes to old units seem great. Loving the Temepst change, weirdly enough. And also oracle new spell!!

The marine is the only unit where you can do that though, every other unit needs a gimmick to get the same effect - if you don't want to end up with 10 variations of marines that is.
