I dont think these maps are suitable for competitive play. The third bases on many maps are blocked by rocks. This means zerg either has to get early units to break them or just take really late. I get the feeling 2b protoss all ins are gonna dominate for the whole season. Not sure about how terran will do.

Does anyone else think the seasons last far too long? Having the same maps for like 3 or 4 months is horrible. I know that WCS tournaments have to use the ladder pool on ladder in their tournaments, but changing every month or so wouldn't be so bad. I'd love to see month-long seasons where each new season sees only 1 new map added and the least popular one removed.

3-4months is a bit long, it's worse that the average ladder map lasts 2 of those seasons.

they're not interested in this afaik, there have been attempts but nothing really came out of it.
