Just stay on medium is much better than these options, but keep trying maybe we'll find something. ;~; let me know when u get stc to work D: | ||

Will the stuff like seeing what units warp-in work from everywhere above a certain level of model, or just the one? From what I remember, it mostly depends on high models, and probably some other parameters like "uselow..." How could I get it to be brighter on medium settings. I like medium settings just that it's still a little dark for me. I've already upped the gamma as much as I can without changing the color too much. Increase your gamma or try lighting=0. It will turn off all the lighting in the game, so every map will have similar basic lighting. It looks like medium but it doesn't seem as shiny as when I turn my settings into shiny. It looks pretty smooth and clear in comparison to my medium settings. Those are standard medium or ultra (or between them) settings. The shiny effect is still here. Just check the creep. You can see the giggling animation. Only with shiny effect you can see the creep animation. I really like how the game looks, but cloaked stuff is way harder to see. Try to set Textures to low. Except the planets background. I almost vomited literally when I saw it because my room's lights were off QQ Well, because with Hybrid Settings we're turning the entire game lighting at all, everything without specific lighting becomes with different look. In game menus it becomes more worse, but in the game itself it makes it more clear and sometimes more bright. hmm i still prefer my medium setup Glad for you You also can try to experiment with these settings. For example remove all the shiny effect with lighting=0, and you can do that even on Ultra settings. But i can understand why people wouldnt like it, does look a bit funky esp login and menus, but other than that very awesome. I think, that slighty corrupted logon/menu screens aren't a big problem. Many players usually quickly going to matchmaking screen and starting the game search, seeing login/menu screen only for 1-2 seconds. Gonna go ahead and say this is totally not anywhere near as good as the last variables file .. and in fact when i tried it out it made loading times much longer Longer loading times may be only for first time. Try to use unit preloader and clear cache. It helps. Weird, but it changed my desktop colors and chrome colors... uhh lol How starcraft 2 settings may change the colors of entire windows? How it's possible? It sounds like "My StarCraft 2 formatted my hard drive" Sorry, harder to see than the standard Medium Shaders + Low Textures setup that people use to see cloaked units better. Try to use Hybrid settings and low textures. It's all free and open to edit. Experiment with your settings as you wish! | ||
