The current radius is just a bit small, can be inconvenient with wallins and also now with Gateways as opposed to Warp Gates which could be built wherever and stacked on top of each other we need more buildable space in our base too.

OHHh MMMM GGG this mod is awesome.
Played my first real game tvp on fighting spirit and had a blast. Putting mines all over the map. Doing runbys with vultures. Leepfroging with tanks. But not cardbox tanks. Tanks that actually kill protoss shit tanks!!
The sc2 and original parts that were added seem really cool and I love the brood war dmg system +high ground advantage.
I really have to thank you for putting so much effort into this. It feels awesome and seems to have a lot of potential so I hope more people pick it up and it doesn´t fall off the radar. I haven´t had so much fun playing an rts since the sc2 beta and that was because everything was new and shiny. T(h)anks!!!!

I vote for the Dragoon. When we first considered implementing it, I was like: Eh guys, that shit looks awfull. Can we consider just giving it the Immortal model and naming it a Dragoon (?)
But as time went on, I kinda got used to it I guess.

Im curious: What's your thoughts on making the Defiler more microable? We are considering nerfing the AOE of Dark Swarm (other adjustments will be made along this to maintain a decent level of balance). Would a small increase in movement speed as a compensation make it more fun? Fast burrow-movmenet (similar to Roach or is that too uncreative?).

This really does seem to be building momentum. The first time I saw this, I assumed it would go no where, with there only ever being a small community enjoying it. My skepticism has been changed into intrigue. I think there is a good chance this will still die down, but it seems to have a chance...

Defiler definitelly looks too much like a lobster. Also dragoon could benefit from a small aesthetic upgrade, I like sentinel though, very unique design imo.

Only thing is Defiler is a bit clunky imo and while i'ma Terran player I think the Defiler needs like a +1 Range buff lol

I just tested some Dark Swarm stuff and was not sure if some of this was intended or not..
As of now opponent units under swarm DO take damage from ranged attacks.
Defilers can consume Changelings for energy.
Also, I know AOE damage is halved, but are Reaver/Spider Mine shots initially qualified as such? (As in the target they hit, not the resulting surrounding AOE damage). Example: One Zergling will not die to a Spider Mine shot.
Again if this is how it is supposed to be just disregard. Thanks!

Does it really matter...you shouldn't evaluate a game based on it's "eSportiness..." It's pretty damn fun, and that's what counts. Having a lot of fun making my BW builds work.

I'm more excited to see new builds that surprise all of the BW players on Starbow. Still haven't seen much use of Roach with speed burrow, ghosts, vipers etc

Cmon, leave dragoons, rivers and defilers alone. Yes, maybe their animation maybe a little bit off, but if we would speak balance things - they are OK. The only one real imba in this game right now is sentinel..
