1) Well it sounds awesome and JAEDONGGGUUUUUUUU!!! 2) It seems to sound like we are moving ever so slightly closer to the ultimate unified team league we all dream about ![]() Also this may seem stupid but do we know if English VODs will be free? If they are that would be even more amazing!

With the recent rise in bw because of sonic, bw is much more popular than sc2. LoL is also hurting sc2 as well. I really have no hope for sc2 seriously and its pretty sad. When i go to afreeca there's not even a stream of sc2 while bw' sonic had like 50k viewers. Blizz please please shock the world with lotv SKT is only sponsoring to justify their purchase of those superstar players on their team and to cement their stance as the "number 1 esport team". I was hoping that this wouldn't be sponsored by SKT as the past 3(THREE!) PL seasons were sponsored by SKT. This truly shows any sponsor's interest toward the scene.

Because they couldn't find an outside sponsor, they just relied on one of their own companies instead, and SK Telecom is definitely one of KeSPA's bigger sponsors with a big stake in their team considering how old and storied it is, not to mention it having the biggest fanbase out of any Korean team. It's completely expected for SK Telecom to be a last- ditch backup sponsor.

I am being told here that in comparison with other years of Proleague, they are not, but in comparison with individual tournaments, they are almost absurdly low - they are comparable to a standart Premium tournament, but it goes to the whole team and requires many month of participation. In the end, the amount of money paid out per player and time is almost irrelevant. The only reasonable reason to play in this is for the (both personal and sponsor) exposure. It will be great if it produces good games, but is it really sustainable in the current market? It's been sustainable for a decade, why wouldn't it be sustainable now? It's a team league, the team owners (IE the sponsors) are the ones that matter and they get constant exposure for their team. It's like one big advertisement 3 times a week for half a year. It's more than worth it. To compare it to an individual league is silly. Vastly different things.
