I was hoping that in the 6.2 version, the APM thingy would be solved. Blizzard, Scelight and Sc2ReplayStats show us different and wrong APMs
It's very hard for me to measure my dick if I can't see the effect of my spam.

1 minor request: LotV icon is old Artanis(beta) now. Would you change to new Artanis?

Also if it could include Camera commands in the APM calculation, it would be awesome. I basically win in 8 minutes tops with cheese and it shows me APM 80. Are you fcking kidding me? The first two minutes I'm quite sure I had over 1000, do the average correctly God dammit!

I was hoping that too, but things are more complicated than I thought.

Patch 3.0 introduced an internal command manager, and as a result, lots of commands are not recorded directly in the replay, but rather as instructions to this internal command manager. I still need to discover it and simulate it in Scelight.

This internal command manager is the main reason for incorrect APM values, missing actions and more. Once I take care of the internal command manager simulation, all these problems will go away.

Screen movements / camera updates were never part of APM calculation. They can be included of course, but that won't be APM anymore (Sc2gears introduced XAPM which included camera movements).

Also if you want something that involves camera movements, then check out SPM (Screens Per Minute). SPM is all over inside Scelight, you have SPM chart and SPM metrics calculated for players, games etc, it is also part of the Multi-Replay analyzer, displayed in the Replay list etc.

Also one thing which seemingly you don't know: the first 110 sec (game-time) of the games are excluded from per-minute calculations (e.g. APM, SPM). You can change this on the Replay Processor settings page.

Wow, thanks for the 110 sec tip, I didn't know that sabotage option was in there. I've set it to 0. Now do I just add APM with SPM in order to calculate my real APM? I'm quite sure camera actions are actions are well, including the moments when you're setting the cameras. They take time and keyboard/mouse input.

Maybe you should make a poll and ask if every action should be included in the APM or just those that aren't camera related. I'm quite sure people will want all the actions included. Camera controls are extremely useful.

Please read this page first for reference: APM Types

Changing camera position may not require any action from your part: you just move your mouse over the edge of the screen, and done. You don't touch anything and you would have a constant APM... Also, you can lock screen on a moving unit, resulting in a constant APM without any effort from your part...

Yes, you may add APM and SPM for your own use, but note that SPM is not camera actions per minute. Select the SPM chart in the Replay Analyzer, and move your mouse over the help icon (question mark) next to the charts combo. You will see this help dialog:

I have a small problem, I have checked the option to make it restorde previous windows position on startup but it maximizes the program every time it anyways. Is there something I missed or is that bugged, I know it worked at one point.

Edit: I'm blind, fixed it.

Does the scelight give us the game state information such as units, resources, etc?
If yes, can I export these information automatically to a file?

Yes, it gives you game state information. Open a replay in the Replay Analyzer, and select the Player Stats chart. You will see a sub-chart with 19 different metrics that are the (direct or indirect) output of the SC2 game engine itself optionally broken down to minerals/gas; including Resources Current, Resource collection rate, SQ, Food used, made ; army; economy; technology etc.

On the Build Orders tab you can see units, buildings, upgrades etc. for all the players -> this is from the game engine.

Very grateful for all kinds of interface changes that can make workflow a bit faster. Are you open for more suggestions? Drag & drop from windows folder still very high on the wish list.
