Just the latest bit of fun with the Aligulac database, inspired in part by SiskosGoatee. Here's a list of all pairs of players who have ever played against each other, and their scores, ordered by number of games. In a certain sense it's a list of the biggest rivalries, although «closeness» doesn't factor into it (nor the stage of the games, for example most of Snute's 75 games against BabyKnight was a Bo69 with dubious quality which perhaps shouldn't even be there).

Well, maybe "biggest rivalries" should be replaced by "most extensive rivalries" or just "extensive rivalries" in short, meaning rivalries which span the highest number of games.

Well here in EU even the small tournaments are of relevance. Those "small tournaments" are what make the EU scene what it is, imho.
Reason is that a lot more smacktalk happens there and a lot of "special tactics", if you want. Sure a big Dreamhack is very nice too but for the more dedicated fans these small tournaments mean a lot!
