Maybe Jaedong is simply not my most favorite progamer but it seems there is not much thought nor emotion (there are bits yes, but most are minimalistic, some feel like they lack thought behind it) behind the scenes. And then there are a lot of random totally boring scenes, showacasing more the Korean culture rather than gaming one. If you know already about Esports, given you are here on TL, you won't get any revelation from watching this movie, if you simply want to spend some nice time yes, its ok.

They're just now starting to talk about the match fixing scandal and the Korean's reaction to it and how 3 teams closed down, Oz being one of them. To add, they are following "Park Yo Han" and also ![]() Neat look into the amateur scene, struggle with school and gaming, Jaedong's family, life and fan(s). Struggle to find a sponsor for Team 8, Blizzcon 2011, end of Broodwar as well as transition to Starcraft II. Overall i felt like it was worth the amount i paid. Well made, bit too fast paced for me, but for a 85min doc i guess that happens easily. e. Dodgin, thats true! Fixed

My review of it is that overall it was decent, it's mainly jaedong focused and park yo han focused. Mekia wasn't all that followed, but the movie kind of ended with his dialogue--that felt a little strange pacing wise. I watched it with people who are not familiar with starcraft, they liked it reasonabley enough. All of us agree, it lacked a little bit of a story. It could have highlighted difficulty of amateur life more (eg the [NAME] house or things like that), could have highlighted B teamer life more, or just focused more on jaedong overall and how popular he really was/is and highlight how talented he really is. Just kind of shows some fan girls here and there. But most teamliquidians know these things and so it's still enjoyable, although could have used a little more gameplay. edit: have to say no gogo in the movie (their facebook page had a pic of gogo as background for a while, made me think it would go more in depth about the match fixing scandal). The match fixing scandal was covered in the film but not extensively, and looked visually weird trying to place news clips on billboards/public square screens.
