Stephano does very well in EU tournaments and that´s also the reason why he got popular in the first place. I was never sure if the GSL was the right place for him (not because of the skill level, but GSL is very restricted and boring in a sense and Stephano likes to be less restricted and shines with huge crowds that are cheering for him). Also, since he joined EG and the GSL decision, we haven´t had the chance seeing him in Europe too much, which I am sure about he misses a lot. He should listen to his heart and where he feels comfortable. It´s his life, after all, he has to learn and respect his inner voice and not follow what other people want from him. Boring and restricted ? Are you trolling or something ?

It should be the player that notifies ahead to the organiser that he can't play; not the other way around. Hell from the up and down it seemed even Incontrol (his teammate) assumed he would play up and downs. How can anyone expect GOM to know if even his teammate doesn't?

Time for you to learn the definition of a live tournament; cause if the GSL aint live you quite frankly don't known the meaning of the word.

Stephano forfeit U&D > oh so silly Stephano we hate you ! è__é He took his tickets before knowing the date of the U&Down, and maybe he was focused on HOTS. He doesn't like the GSL. You should respect his decision instead of constant whining.

Yes, I do have a point. GSL does have crowd and mad people watching. Emotions are high in the up and downs with stars being born from them. I think it is more likely him not looking forward to playing more WOL then him being scared to play in GSL, but who knows with Stephano. The problem is, he just don't care about playing in Korea. It's not a diss on Stephano but something we all know . Hell, I somewhat like Stephano but I'm not a fanboy..

Yes, but it´s basically the same everytime, while there is a lot more variety with different live tournament all over the world and this is where Stephano began his career (online cups, HSC, EU tournaments) and GSL very boring to watch sometimes. I get much more excited watching a live tournament like WCS EU, where Stephano made an extremely impressive showing. Why do people always have to be so difficult and answer on excerpts rather than understanding what I meant by it. And no, you don´t need to explain to me, what a live tournament is, thanks for the offer, though.

not good enough. And when you can`t compete with the best at GSL you surely will get no price money. But - IEM is no easy money either. Look at the participants. It would pretty much be a little little surprise if Stephano would finish top 3 with his current form.

I cannot enjoy GSL like I would a WCS EU. You cannot compare WCS EU with GSL Code A or Code S. There are tournaments that only happen once in our lives and you never forget them. If there would only be GSL no one would really know the players (the people) behind the game and have followed they´re career if it weren´t for HSC or MLG and EU tournaments.
