Help mee!!! >< turn your internet off and try logging in to battle.net then click "play offline" Yes mate I have done that. But ppl say the play as guest appears when they have no internet, and for me it does not appear even though my net is off. Can you screenshot the menu? I get this when I turn off my internet: ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/4654a04.png)
Yes I get that, but where(on what screen) does the "play as guest" appear? Is it like before in WOL, where it appears on the very first page along with option, region, login page screen?
Yes I do get that but after clicking play offline I still cannot find guest button

Since you seem to be having some difficulty accessing offline games against AI, I'll try to explain it to you step-by-step.
+ Show Spoiler +1. You have already gotten to this screen and clicked "Play Offline." ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/4654a04.png) 2. You should get to a stripped-down version of the main menu. To play offline games against AI, click Custom Games. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/5gF2dDE.jpg) 3. The list was empty for me after that. However, I waited about less than a minute for it to populate. The time may vary for you. It would be preferable to have played some of the maps online beforehand so that they are downloaded and appear in the list. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/vtQVqIi.jpg) 4. After some waiting, I got a list of maps that I could play on. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/P0J8AGv.jpg) 5. I was able to create a game and add an AI with a large range of difficulties and build styles. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/ahinh69.jpg) 6. And voila, I played against AI when offline from Battle.net, just as I could have done when we had the old guest mode. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/yJiocbc.jpg)

I cannot target enemy units or buildings or anything (click on them that is) for example if I wanted to click on a marine to find out his upgrades or on a warping protoss building to find out which building it is). Is anyone else experiencing it?

If you go to Options>Gameplay>Enable Enemy Unit Selection, that will fix it.

Is anyone else experiencing it? It's a new option that is toggled on by default with the patch. It can be turned off.
Go to Options, then Gameplay, and then toggle the "Enable Enemy Unit Selections" option.

any idea if they will change this back? Apparently, it's a bug. Luckily, they're planning on fixing it.
Eggs hatched from Larvae are playing the wrong sound.
-We have identified the cause of this issue and should have a fix applied in a future update. http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/2267599524

Since this is I guess related to HOTS, please allow me to ask here.
I am thinking...should I buy the digital copy of HOTS from Blizz? Or just buy a hard, actual, physical CD?
The problem is, my net is super slow. So I think that if I download a digital copy, I will need to install by downloading GBs of GBs......but I have done the pre patch download in WoL, so do I still need to download when I install HOTS?
Another alternative is, if I buy a physical HOTS CD, surely I dont have to do any downloading right? Since every file I need is in the actual CD already?
If I download it on my computer, I can install there and then I can install on my laptop too right? There wont be any problem with CD Key? With WOL I was able to buy 1 CD and install twice. 1 on my comp other on my laptop

With WOL I was able to buy 1 CD and install twice. 1 on my comp other on my laptop What you buy is a license. You can install the game in all pcs around the world with a single CD if you want. But each one of the players must have their license to login and play.
So yes, you will be able to install the game in two computers with a single PC. What you won't be able is to play in both at the same time.
As for the download, the CD will give you the vanilla HOTS, but further patches will be downloaded from the web anyway. And once you validate your cd key into your B.net account, for all that matter you will have also a digital copy, and you will be able to download the full game installer from the web, without even unboxing the CD.

Anyone mind explaining how to change language selection for the new patch, and which regions might not have the option to change language? I'm residing in Korea, and have the TW version since I bought SC2 before my korea papers were finalized, which means I have no idea how to navigate the menus. It would be great if I could play in English or Korean.

Menu(Press ESC)-Options(First on menu)-Language (Last or 7th from top)- (Pick English/ Korean) (Top is speech, Botom is text)
Menu(Press ESC)- 选项- 语- English(英语)/ Korean(韩国)
I don have chinese version but hope this helps. Just look for some of those words.

My PC has worse and worse performance after each patch
The game used to run pretty smoothly. But now, I need to have absolutely all settings in low..The lowest possible video and sound settings. It all started 2 or 3 patchs ago and I have no idea why.

Still, mind translating this for me?

And on that note, since I'm probably going to get HOTS, is there any resource out there that lists which versions of starcraft 2 that supports different languages?

Ok then based on your answer, kind sir, maybe it is better to just download digital copy from Blizzard instead of physical CD then? Though my net is slow, perhaps it is the better choice?
EDIT: Once I bought the digital copy, what happens? Should I just finish downloading the current 14GB patch first then buy digital copy of HOTS so as not to interfere?

It says you need to restart sc2.

It says you need to restart sc2. Strange. I've fiddled around with it, changing languages from Taiwanese to english to Portuguese and back again, restarting each time. I'll try a couple more things and try again another day mayhaps. It asks me to restart, which I do (well it automatically restarts it for me anyways), and when I log in again everything stays the same.

This might be something I have to take directly up with blizzard to fix; might be a bug. Maybe a conflict with a previous US version installed?
