It's not there yet, but Blizz has stated it is coming. so its not there yet? but doesnt it say "StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty patch 2.0.4 is now live! create a file called regions.xml in your starcraft 2 folder (where starcraft2.exe is) and add;
<regions> <region displayname="AUTHENTICATION_SG_REGION" hostname="sg" allowedProductLocales="all" localesThatDefaultToThisRegion="enSG"/> <region displayname="AUTHENTICATION_US_REGION" hostname="us" allowedProductLocales="all" localesThatDefaultToThisRegion="enUS"/> <region displayname="AUTHENTICATION_EU_REGION" hostname="eu" allowedProductLocales="all" localesThatDefaultToThisRegion="enGB"/> <region displayname="AUTHENTICATION_KR_REGION" hostname="kr" allowedProductLocales="all" localesThatDefaultToThisRegion="koKR"/> </regions>

Alternatively, Simon's Relocalizer seems to work at changing the region too and it's super easy to use.

so I seem to like the changes, the thing that I think is crazy though now is how I cant click on his units anymore to see what upgrades hes on, what building is being warped in, etc. was this intentional?

there's an option to reactivate that, by default you cannot select enemy/neutral units anymore (go to options->gameplay->enable enemy unit selection or something like that)
They made that cause it helps noobs, apparently, so it's understandable i guess, if a little annoying

They didn't straight up remove anything. You can still create an offline custom against the A.I., can't you?

Every time I start WoL it says Starcraft 2 must be reoptimized and allows 2 choices: Reoptimize or Close Launcher. I had already done the reoptimization a few times but this message just keeps popping up every time I launch WoL. After it finishes I can play normally but it is quite annoying that every time I want to play I have to wait 25-30 minutes for reoptimization. Anyone else have that issue?

After this patch I've been getting extremely high ping and something like half a sec delay on all my command, making the game almost unplayable, anyone have any idea about this ?

Done. Had same issue, this resolved it and now works perfect.

Hi everyone!
With the 2.0.4 patch we know there is no "play as guest" button where you can choose to play as guest 1 2 or 3.
So...normally I put my replays in guests, because that way when I watch an older version, I dont have to log out of BNet. But this time since guest feature is gone, do I have no option but to simply put the replays in my actual account, and being forced to log out each time I watch a replay?
It is quite annoying and time consuming Is there any solution to this? Thank you!

The whole mmr-like system to battling ai is just wrong. No idea if you can lower your rating in this by just throwing games, but that seems like a waste of time when trying to solo practice. Huh? I think you're misunderstanding. You don't have to use matchmaking to play vs AI, it's just an option.

So is there any way I can play the game without going through the whole download? 2 options: 1. Close agent.exe every time you start SC2. That is the program that downloads stuff 2. Make a change in your variables.txt file. The file is located in your user's documents folder, under "Starcraft II" (for windows), or "~/Library/Application Support/Blizzard/StarCraft II" for OS X. The change you need to make is to add the line writeAgentRegion=0 Wow there's STILL people making posts about their lag problems; read some posts please guys. A moderator really needed to make a big red notice message for this thread a long time ago talking about the lag (why it's there, and a link to more information). Get on it, mods; sheesh. I don't understand why people try to defend Blizzard on this. The executable feels extremely heavy, I barely can alt-tab without it freezing, when I click on menus in game it freezes. I constantly keep getting random freezes or crashes. I have a i7 with a top tier gpu (at least from 6 months ago)... It's nice that they added features and stuff but the whole program seems way too heavy and full of crashes. It was poorly designed in the first place, no hot-fix or "patch" will help those issues, let's just hope they just rewrite the whole thing for LotV but I doubt they will (because it would be way too time consuming) Why Did you quote me in that reply? I'm not defending Blizzard's laggy/system-hogging GUI. Ever since the [WoL] beta I've been annoyed at Blizzard's terrible GUI for Starcraft 2. It's not the issue at hand though; the patch didn't change the lagginess of the GUI at all. The problem here is that people are experiencing lag due to their bandwidth being plugged due to downloading. I don't find that SC2 crashes much at all. If it does for you, you should look into what might be the problem. I don't know what you mean by freezes; how long are these freezes? did they only arrive with the patch? are they occurring when no downloads are happening? your problem is not what everyone else's problem is.
On topic, I do agree it's stupid that Blizzard didn't give players an option and prominent notification in advance to do the download, instead of sneaking it in. I also think that they should have added a bandwidth throttling option too, but that is more of an unnecessary bonus (as long as the notification/option exists at least)

Is there a way to use the old in game interface? With the new i-g interface it's almost impossible to notice idle workers and stuff like that, is there a way to fix it?

Despite closing Agent32.exe and writing writeAgentRegion=0 in my Variables.txt file I am still having data usage while playing a game and I also notice the circular disc kinda thing on top of the screen which indicates that progress is being downloaded during the game which is probably whats causing me all my lags because I have extremely low bandwith and weak internet which used to run the game smoothly before patch.
I though changing my variables file would have stopped all background downloading. Can anyone help please?

Do you earn experience with this patch or is that an exclusive HOTS feature?

I have a small problem concerning the download of files from the launcher. Loaded the patch complete and i wanted the chinese language files again (normally have them from previous patches). So i changed language option, restarted sc2 and then the launcher downloaded. It was around 2 Gb i think.... So i decided to changed the language back, because my inet is slow. i changed the variables.txt to to the normal language setting, then restarted sc2 and now he's downloading 7 Gb. So wierd to download 7Gb for a language i already loaded the patch. Is there a way to reset sc2 or the launcher that he detect, that i already patched the game with my original language?
