I have a USB mic that gives me decent production value. I use a free program called Audacity to make my tracks. I simply download any beat from YouTube or instrumentals I have on my computer and load them into Audacity. Once the beat is loaded into the program, I can simply record my vocals over the beat using my mic. I wear a headset while I record so that my vocals and the beat are in the program separately. I use already established instrumentals for making my tracks. Question #2: Yes. I have real raps that I finished. I will upload them to YouTube asap in case anybody wants to hear them. I finished my mixtape three weeks ago. I called it "Mixtape 2012" it has 9 songs. Check my YouTube channel in a few hours or by tomorrow I should have some of them uploaded. I have to convert them all to videos. And rapping has always been just a hobby for me. I would love it if I was pursuing a career in rapping, that would be the life, but that is too risky for me to do. I am currently a Biology major in college looking to go to graduate school.
