Literally the day you post this, David Kim announced a major nerf to infestors and a buff to hydras and mutas, which is exactly what you're arguing for. Like the nerf to make psionic units immune to fungals? Or maybe the IT egg HP nerf. Bahahaha

@ the stephano-discussion: ofc he profits from zerg's strength nowadays, but call a player like him a patch zerg is a bad joke. would you call leenock a "patch zerg"? stephano has awesome skills, and I don't see any foreigner at his level atm. even with some zerg-nerfs (which will come hopefully). btw, i am zerg.

Stephano was never a true patchzerg as he was in school and started to get results well before the queen patch. Terran had a era where it was unbeatable and was in a need of a few patches too get the game closer to balance (looking in the TvP section here, anybody remember the 5 raid marauders who would snipe a Nexus in a few seconds?) The else is true. A bigger patch is needed to nerf the zerg. I hope it comes well before HoTS

Very clever (and funny) way to point out what is balantaly obvious for every sc2 fan, and saldy TL have been banned people for stating this (well at least till Ryung "IMBA" rant).

Sorry Sup but I'm pretty certain he's not 100% serious about everything he says. Once he gets to Revenge of the Blizzard is where it turns more to ramp up the humor of it. Everything above it seems to be pretty spot on though about Zerg. Even being a zerg player you can't dispute the strong points he is making about the current balance.

I hope this game dies, it doesn't deserve to be a successor to BW.

Stephano's only skill was getting 60 roaches at the 12 minute mark against protoss. Also, Leenock is not a patchzerg per-se, but he abuses the current trend the most. It's not unusual to see him with 20+ infestors in any matchup. He might not always go brood/lord infestor, but he always gets 20 infestors, he knows they are good vs every unit so he abuses that to the max. But I think he could still play at the top level if infestor were nerfed. I wouldn't say the same about stephano. Scarlett however is a patchzerg that WOULD play well even if infestor were nerfed. tldr: There are many types of patchzergs, some that abuse the current balance and can do well even if infestors were nerfed, and some that are only doing well because they are abusing the infestor.
