In the latest build, can protoss warp in up cliffs from a low ground pylon?
"I like the new weapon, it's solid removal with a really nice deathrattle in a mech deck. The murloc is a little confusing though, not sure why they thought shamans needed a murloc."

Which part of the abduct animation determines where the unit is pulled to?

ie. If the viper is moving during the cast, does it get pulled to the viper's location when the spell was cast, when the tongue connects, or when the pull actually finishes?


when you cast the abduct, you can move right after. The targeted unit is still moving. But the final destination is the point where the abduct is casted, not the position of the viper.

Can units still use abilities while being abducted by the viper. For example can you feedback the viper in the middle of the abduction? Would make the unit really easy to counter as Protoss


No. The unit is "stunned" during the abduct.

No they can't. A pylon can't power up from the low ground. So you can't warp or build.

That makes sense. If abduct didn't stun them then templar feedback the viper and all his friends and be like "lol thanks for abducting me, loser"

Well, it's more fun than WoL. WoL in 1v1 is so repititive and alltime with same scenarios. And I hate ZvZ in wol with roach battles

Only changes to BC were dmg buff and reducing yamato cannon's energy cost to 100per.

My ridiculous question: Does anyone know if medivacs can heal a changeling? Yes this is crucial.

Just wondering, how do you hurt a changeling without killing it?
That's my hots beta question

About Medivacs, I believe they heal anything tagged "biological", but not sure and can't test so dont trust me.

Edit: YES I wasnt wrong! :D

They can heal anything biological, but Changelings have less HP, than minimal damage in SC2. Everyone can oneshot them

I have a question about the beta but not the actual gameplay. They said they will be giving out beta keys based partially on how often you play. Does anyone know if they are looking at overall playtime or just 1v1? I'm asking because I've mostly been playing 2v2-3v3-4v4 and custom games the last few seasons and was wondering if playing more 1v1 would help my chances. I'm plat if that helps.

Does the Battlehellion (Battle mode)'s attack become invisible when attacking destructable/collapsable rocks? I noticed that they weren't appearing to be doing anything but shoving their shields in front of their faces in a few streams.

In my case : definitively yes !

I know the balance is pretty bad, i know there's bugs, i know some maps are horrlbes, i know all of it ...

BUT ! I'm a mid master on the EU server on WoL. And on the HOTS ladder, there's absolutely no mid master. I'm aloooooooooone
So HOTS ladder just give me very strong opponents. I can't win against them, but it's very fun and very interesting ! I played against WhiteRa and some other very good players (very good for me, i know they are not at the top of the world of sc2).

How effective are blue flame Hellion drops in battlemode with the different AoE dmg while in battlemode?


I'm a Zerg player and terrans do this often. But hellions in battlemode can't run after drones. So if you see battlehellions, you take all your drone and let's go to the natural. If the terran change the mode of his hellions, you surround them with zergling. If he stay in the battlemode, just use your queen / spine (or roach if you have roach).

This is just a graphical bug. Battlehellions do damages to rocks correctly.

No whine, just play.
