Revelation, the 'Scan' ability is very very different from Comsat.IIRC it costs 50 mana, At the most, it's significantly less than Entomb. When you cast it, you get an AOE splat cursor that's about 6 range wide. All units in the cast radius are tagged for about 30 seconds as visible. No matter how they move out of the area you cast on, or separate themselves, they will remain visible while the spell is in effect. Even through fog of war. It's a very good, so far underused spell because it allows you to very easily score free hits with range upgraded Tempests. It doesn't matter what their army is, if you're always doing DPS from 2 screens away. | ||

I am a mid-masters player in WoL. I went 5-0 in my placement matches and got placed into Gold. After my placement, I played a GM (Ghostclaw). What gives? The people I am playing (gold in beta) are "good" (masters level macro for sure). Are the leagues wonky or am I just not understanding something..? Thanks. | ||
