After a long long time, I finally got a barebone Mac Relocalizer out. It does not have a graphical interface, because I am still struggling to find a solution to make a cross-platform compatible version instead of separately maintaining the code base for different platforms. But for now this should do the trick. Link: https://github.com/downloads/lhr0909/SC2Patch150Relocalizer/SimonsRelocalizerMac.v0.0.1.zip It will first ask to download the core files (9KB), and put them in the home folder. Then you will have to re-run the relocalizer file again and proceed the relocalization. Here is a screenshot of the relocalizer successfully switched my NA client to EU and downloading the assets. ![]() Please note that the relocalizer assumes that you did not change the path name (so the SC2 path has to be /Applications/StarCraft II/), if you don't have the same path, let me know (I don't remember if the installer ever gives you an option to change paths) If there are any errors, please let me know!!! And I hope to keep working on this and find a good way to add a more snazzy-looking interface than just words in terminal. Thank you for all your support and I really appreciate that!

What's the problem there? here's a screenshot of the terminal log ![]()

The Mac version does not check for that. In order to get the voice asset, you have to first set it to koKR for both options, then let your SC2 to completely patch up. Once you done that, you can go ahead and choose enSG as region and koKR as voice asset. If you want to play Korean server with English text, thats not possible, just to make it clear.

RaVenSc2 and I looked at it and the only way that we can do that is to alter the installer, which will be a ton of work, and not practical for everyone to use in that regard. We are still looking into it tho

"Failed to read a required file. Please close all other applications, deactivate your anti-virus software, and try again." Relocalizing first worked fine when I started SC2. But then at some point I got this message. (I tried everything suggested. It did not help.)

Sorry if someone already answered to this question, haven't seen it (didn't search for a long time I have to admit it) There isn't a way to get banned from using this program. It uses the authentic files from other patches. It's just changing the client so it tricks itself that it's in another country and patches for the new region

Sorry if someone already answered to this question, haven't seen it (didn't search for a long time I have to admit it) You will have to own an account to be able to play in different regions in Wings of Liberty. Personally I bought an NA account, an EU account and a TW account so I can play on 3 different regions with the relocalizer. On top of that, the relocalizer does not change any of the MPQ files directly (MPQ files are the archive files for Blizzard games that package and encrypt important information of the game, when you alter those files, you alter the game). So it is completely safe because technically, we did not change the game by any means.

My program never provides this error message. and you should not need to deactivate anti-virus software.

Am I retarded, or is there some sort of fix for this? Oh, the tricky part about the AM Portuguese is that you do need a Brazilian account for that... Pretty much the same deal as the KR/TW thing. You need TW account to use Chinese, KR account to use Korean. However you can still set the voice to Portuguese, just that the display text has to be English (or Spanish if you have MX account)
